Death stranding is one of my last things my father gave to me before having to leave so I always go back to it and listen to the soundtrack as it gives me such a joyful sadness thinking about this game and music it really helps me go on in life when I listen to it but it also hurts so much

When this song played as you make the final stretch of the journey into Capital Knot... slowing your steps, looking back the way you came as far as the fog will let you, thinking back on the people you met, friends you made, roads you built, paths you created... knowing the journey is over is such sad sorrow, but look how far you've come.

I feel this, played second time rn but with online experience as my first was offline. It was very different to say the least, players helping make things, completing the whole road, making bridges, connecting all preppers and knots, story, all the hard work. And seeing your footsteps in Capital Knot City from when you first took Bridget's corpse with this song in background, it hits hard. How far we've come... Not to mention the last whale BT man holy, my delivery was fucked about 98%

Yeah, no subway here, I listened this on the bus. Watching outside from the window, trees moving in dark, just few lights between them, some snow on the ground, street lights moving and the headlights of the cars, feels like the bus is outside the world sliding to some other place, and I listening the music... I don't care about being average or whatabouts, everyone is average and having money or not, nor being famous don't change our fulfilment in any way. Even Ryan copes up(or did) with depression and panic attacks. I'm seventeen and since few months i've been trying to find something that i could do that would secure me having at least somewhere to live and man, the job market really sucks. I have few choices and either of them won't suit me. I can do something that doesn't interest me and have some of money, or do something that i'd love, but for a minimum wage (i'm from the middle-eastern european country). Since few years i've dreamed about living at least some part of my life in Iceland, just like Ryan did, but i can't really find any way to do that and still lead normal life there(yk, having money is kinda important). Well, i used that comment to kinda let myself out, but man it did help me. Sorry to bother you :~) Ah, and sorry for any mistakes and whatsoever, as you can guess english is my second language and i hadn't checked my rant for any spelling nor etc.
