I love this message so much! So many people find themselves in unhappy relationships for far too long. I always tell my children when they say negative things about themselves “think about what you’d say to your daughter if you heard her say these things about herself. You are her mirror. Teach her to love herself.”

That’s a good way to teach kids. Self esteem is so important! And it starts at home when they’re very young. It’s much hard to try and rebuild self esteem as an adult rather than making it a foundational part of growing up.

I'm in my late 60's and been happily single for over 25 years. Own my own home and car. I holiday wherever I want to go by myself and absolutely LOVE it. Met men over the years, but most of them have problems/baggage, so no thanks, I'm very happy being single 🤣

Às a survivor myself I have been single for 18 years now, my eldest is terrified of me even going on a date never mind my youngest from that relationship, they are freaked out their dad could do that and then saw it first hand when they where 13 n he turned up outta blue
