Hey, happy new year!🎉 Yes, I'm try to recover from Christmas spending as well, but am also looking for another recliner. Idk if you have Menards where you are, but they have really inexpensive deals online you can do in store pick up. Paid under $200 for one about a month or so ago. I've tried the no spend it doesn't work for me per say. I have 2 checking accounts. I figure my bills pay them. Then I leave myself $300 -$400 for my monthly spending in the first account. Then what ever is left I transfer over to the second account. I don't touch that money unless I have to. I saved a huge amount of money doing that last year and I plan on doing it again this year. Neither of my accounts have fees either. Most times I have money left over from the $300 - $400 I set aside and add it to the second account as well the following month. I hope this all makes sense. That new ss raise we just got it's going straight into the second account as well. I bought freezer meal containers and I freeze all left overs. Premade freezer meals save me a lot of money and time, My freezer looks like a freezer section at the store lol Good luck my friend and happy new year

Honestly I dont see how anyone can not spend a penny lol thats why I am just doing the low spend , I spent so much thru Christmas month it was unreal . Today Im doing my walmart what I need then thats it for the month except the 40.00 which we all know 40.00 doesnt go no where hahaha. I keep my money also in a second account no fee and yes it does make sense . hopefully I can get all this extra senior food used up and freezer cleaned . HAPPY NEW YEAR my friend

@@Sheribail3 Sounds like an awesome plan. I did my Walmart yesterday. I just got 5 more freezer meals out of the spaghetti I cooked yesterday. I still have 2 more in the fridge I have to eat. Maybe tomorrow, I ate it twice yesterday as it is lol
