Do you like Grits ?

I love them. In fact, just tonight I was trying to decide between grits or oats. I decided to go with a bowl of oatmeal and a toasted English muffin for my dinner. When it comes to grits, though, I prefer them savory over sweet. Butter and a little salt is all I put in them. No pepper, though. That just doesn't sound good to me. Salt and butter is all I need. I do have a toaster oven, but I never use it for actual toast. I use it for things like frozen egg rolls, pizza rolls and other frozen snacks. I use my toaster oven all the time. I also use it for cooking/crisping those Banquet breaded chicken patties for chicken sandwiches. Lots of stuff, really. But not toast. I just use a regular toaster for toast, bagels, English muffins, etc.

I’ve never tried them. My dad used to enjoy grits, though.

I love the old Mill restaurant and gift shop too. I had gotten the corn meal also when I went in 2023, but I threw it out, it was either past the exp date or I couldn't find one. Probably should have used it anyway. 😊 Take care.

My toaster oven dries it out hard as a brick. I have a cheap toaster and I use it on #2 setting. Check it if it isn't toasted enough I cahnge the setting to 1. I love yellow grits they sell them in the stores here now. No sugar in grits ever . I don't eat out but maybe once a month if that and it's always to go.

I thought toaster oven may dry it out , I tried all settings on my toaster and its still dry . I love the yellow ones to , I will eat the ones in the package from time to time . Thats me its to expensive to eat out . Unless I am on a road trip then I will
