im 16 and im deciding now to become a part time barber, i want a job that takes skill but im hella nervous, ima ask my parents for trust and tell them this is an investment so hopefully they accept and help me buy all the stuff i need, wish me luck😬(Edit: it’s now been 2 years and it actually went great, it took me around 3 months id say to get it right and look good, it was only until last year where i learned a new fading technique by lance baker now i love all my haircuts, i cut myself and my brothers hair all the time, im not a part time barber tho as i got school and other stuff so i dont have time but it was so worth it as now i dont have to spend time going to a barber shop and risking getting my hair demolished and pay them $40 for it so the journey went great and so worth it)

if i got a high taper your going to need to let your hair grow back before your able to try this cut there isn't going to be enough hair for you ti make a solid transition for the low taper i'd give it a few weeks
