Low Testosterone almost killed me

Good news! I'm alive again! Well, sort of it. It's been a while since I've posted any videos and for good reason too. I had a massive testosterone level drop that I think almost killed me. I had pretty much every unusual symptom in the book from extreme hypoglycemia, to mental confusion, to hypothermia, to nerve pain, to rapidly weakening joints that fractured. Basically my entire body almost failed in the span of about a week.

@@da_dog_lol8341 As someone that has seen an extraordinary level of suffering in my life, I have to disagree. I'm in my 40s, have had two cancers, the first at 17, and I've lost people very close to me, and from that I just respect any kind of suffering or problem no matter how different. Funny - is people's issues, when you're young or you don't know better...and of course I sound like a boring old fart, I geddit. Kindness and respect for others goes a long way though. Another thing is honestly and opening yourself up. I suffered for years before opening up about my PTSD over cancer and the loss of my daughter. This is a young guy who has been brutally honest about that which opens himself up to a very different type of pain and ridicule. We can all do better by being more generous regardless of how anyone else suffers. Lads joking are mostly good people missing the point of that. That's my opinion, everyone is entitled to think xyz. Brad, I've been a subscriber and supporter for a LONG time now and I'm here for the content you make, Call of Duty or not, but I definitely care about your existence and your health. Thank you for always being a guy who isn't afraid to be pretty transparent in all the content you make. Most wouldn't make a video like this one, for any number of reasons, but you did. I appreciate that, and it actually gives me some insight into health issues of my own that I've been having and other potential avenues to explore. Because my doctor is very much a "your bloodwork is all really good so you're fine, it's in your head" type of guy.

No one thinks men's health issues exist, they really do, yes low T can cause early death, aside from the mental aspect, you get angry, than sad , than happy , than depressed and you can't even help it, ok that doctor is ridiculous lol, it's not going to cause cancer that us absolutely absurd, the problem is if you come off stuff you will return back to baseline and be right at the suffering point again, whatever you chose its a life long commitment no other way around it man, I started trt 2 weeks ago and I'm not looking back, never ever cold turkey anything that's disgusting advice, you definitely need to find a good doctor or a good health clinic that knows what to do with a patient as everyone is different. Also they have drugs like hcg and other medicine that keeps your natural testicular function and can help keep your fertility intact

Driftor, OMG!! I am so blessed to run across this video! This is the first time in 30yrs I have heard a guy explain in such detailed accurate info about low T! I just broke down in tears listening to you explaining your symptoms of low T it has been an enormous explosion of the worse memories of my life, diagnosed with hypogonadism, I can no longer tolerate mainstream physicians they are idiots it's beyond words! But if I seen you in person I would hug you and not want to let go, because I never knew anyone else went through this hellish nightmare that I endured. You never missed a beat in your explanation of low T! You are 100% gold advocate for low T. I was put on T gel then insurance would not pay for gel so I was put on testo cypo shots. Yet still my doctor's kept my T in the low levels 400 not good so through research I started myself on stinging nettle extract and DIM to my amazement my T levels shot up to 975, YES!! Soon as my doctor found this out he exploded that's to high then he wanted to bring levels down and what he came up with I said BS! I cut my dosage of the two supplements in half. Mainstream doctor's ruined my life completely and never cared about their actions! I was barely able to support myself, and I had antidepressants tossed at me right and left which I said NO! It's been a ton of doctor's, last few yrs it's been fighting metabolic syndrome T2D, hypothyroidism, high cholesterol, high red blood cell count which I no longer have, but the list goes on! Thank You so much for sharing your story of dealing with low T I am honored that you have told your amazing story and I am sorry you had to go through the hell that I still fight! I would like to see a video of how you are doing in 2023?

I’d be curious to see how you’d feel on actual TRT and not Clomid. I started TRT when my levels were around 280 and now I sit around 1100 every time I get my bloodwork done. 100 mg IM injection of Testosterone Cypionate once a week. No negative side effects other than some acne that I’ve never had before. Feel like a teenager again, it’s great. I had the same concerns about fertility and cancer risk and my doc said in his 30+ years of practice he hasn’t seen conclusive evidence of risk for those things while on TRT so long as you get blood work done every so often to be sure. Of course different physicians have different opinions but it’s something to consider.

I get my bloodwork done regularly to stay on top of it.

TRT will shut off your natural production of test and make it impossible to ever go back to being natural as you can disrupt your system to the point of no return if you are on it long enough in many cases. And it will affect fertility, any doctor who is worth their salt knows the effect of exogenous testosterone and sperm count. Cancer is disputed I believe.

Working 2 jobs keeps me fairly busy so I just think it would help hard to do it every single week. I have heard once you stop getting the shots, everything comes back. I have seen they have a topical gel you can use but most ppl have told me it wasn’t that effective, like AT ALL. I havent even tested my testy level yet, but it would be a waste of time if I already know i cant do it every week. Sorry for the long comment. My question was, how often do you get it? And how long did it take for you to see benefits? I abused alcohol for years, wasnt a full like everyday drinking alcoholic at all but definitely abused it every single weekend and I think it has FKD my body up lol i dont drink no more though, havent had a drink in almost 13 months and I can tell you now, I have no desire to ever again.

@Ghetto-toaster22 hey no problem I'm still around! I've never tried the topical, but I imagine if it worked anywhere close to the injections, everyone would be on that instead. For injections, it's common to do either once a week or twice a week. However, most guys just do the injections themselves at home. The first few times can be a bit challenging, but you get the hang of it fairly quick. I have the vials mailed to my home, where I draw it up and inject it into my glute (sometimes I ask my wife to do it for me 😅). I have a friend that does the injection as "sub-q"(under the skin) with success, which might be an option that is easier to perform on yourself than the intramuscular. If you are just out altogether on injections, I recommend looking into testosterone pellets. They do a small incision on your butt and insert the pellet, which releases testosterone over 3 months, no injections necessary. However, the cost is greater. It's definitely a life changing medication, and I hope you are able to find a solution that works for you if you decide go that route 💪

I don't watch you much but I have been subscribed for several years and I only wish the best for you. I also want to thank you for this because some of these symptoms are in my life and I'm going to get checked because of your very upfront and vulnerable admission of things happening to you. If it wasn't for you being so truthful I wouldn't have come to this conclusion but because you were so upfront about this stuff it really hit the nail on the head. Thank you sir. I wish only the best for you and your family and I wish you a happy and healthy future and a more low-key life.

I'm not even 5 minutes into watching this. I'm a big and tall dude 28 years old, found I have severely low T due to a genetically shitty pituitary gland after blood work and a MRI. I'm doing shots in the thigh weekly to recover, hopefully. I found out due to anxiety that increased into an impending doom panic attack at work, they sent me on leave and then all this came about. High cortosal levels block the absorption of free testosterone in your system, while it's a neccessary hormone for regulating diet and other things, too high of levels are a result of high stress and high processed foods and oils: e.g. Canola, FlaxSeed, Soy been oil, etc. They even put it in men's soap... Would love to share more, have learned much on this subject.

I'm very glad to see you're alright and starting to do better. However, I doubt staying on clomiphene will resolve your issue long term. It's a drug that can jump-start testosterone production ONLY if you already had a good baseline production to begin with; this is why it's often used in post-cycle therapies after steroid use. From what I'm hearing it sounds like you should really consider looking into testosterone replacement therapy. I'm by no means a doctor, but I have a very solid understanding of endocrinology and I fear that if you continue with clomiphene alone, problems will inevitably arise in the future. Whatever you choose to do, know that the fans are always in your corner. Much love brother.
