His comments about the cold reminds me of some of the military people who get stationed her in Alaska. They think that not wearing a coat in the winter makes them adapt to the severe temperatures faster when all it actually does is make them dangerously hypothermic. I point out to them that those of us who have lived here for 30 years adapt to the cold by dressing properly for it, but they always think they know better.

Other critique videos: "I respect you, all jokes, don't take it too serious, hope we meet one day.". This video: "He's a sociopath and I hope he goes out of business.". Mike, I absolutely loved the way you made this video and respect you for it, thank you. I think it's good to make it clear that people like Bryan are mentally ill, lie in your face and will do everything to get your money and attention. It's just sad that we seem to have so many people on this planet who are way uneducated in regards to identifying scammers and/or are too naive, easily manipulated, desperate etc. These people do not just lose their own money, time and energy, but at the same time support horrible and ill-minded people.

@@antonycuff4512Being honest means promoting drugs? Tons of people have been honest since day one (including Mike) and their channels have grown because of solid content. @@onurbole7921 where has mike been honest since day 1 ? there was no mention of roids for the first 8 to 9 years of this channel just training and nutrition vids !
@onurbole79215 ай бұрын
@@antonycuff4512 You are talking about old videos recorded in classrooms, basically the remakes of his lectures which have nothing to do with steroids. I got to know Mike when he exclusively became a YTer 4-5 years ago, getting more informal and personal. He was open about his drug use back then. That is when I already knew, he was a small YTer, I returned to his channel a month ago and haven't seen him talk about it, I wouldn't be able to say if he was honest or not if I didn't know he was honest when he was smaller. You imply that his channel got bigger because he was a fake natty, which is borderline defamation. Offering exercise and nutrition advice in your classroom as an academic without mentioning your private life is not denial or dishonesty. And it's not just Mike, it's been pretty much the norm for past 5 years. Derek got famous exclusively talking about drugs. If I'm not mistaken Greg became a consistent YTer by providing info on steroids first. Jujimufu, John Meadows, Bradley Martin, you name it. Being a fake natty YTer was a thing in 2010s, maybe it is still common among IG influencers but respected YTers are quite transparent. They don't have to exclusively talk about it, some are pretty open about it, some may admit it in every way except saying "I'm taking steroids." It doesn't matter. If you are a fake natty you will be clowned. Kali Muscle was an example. You can't hide it and smart people know. You are saying people who are honest cannot get big, which is outdated. There was a time when even IFBB pros would have to claim natural and if they talked about drugs their face would be blurred. The era is gone now. Dishonesty about this issue is just a matter of character.

Now, him using steroids wasn't something I had any knowledge about at the time, but nowadays I have a bit more knowledge and can see why people talked about the veins now. He has ped veins that are very varicose and it's either a disease or peds. Since he looks healthy enough... It's peds.

When you present yourself to the public as someone who couldn't succeed but then found a way through a particular method, it's easy to attract people seeking ways to improve their lives. This positive portrayal is his specialty in luring people in before he starts promoting confusing language and nonsense to make himself sound like the most intelligent person in the room. This is how he gets your money - by making you feel like the underdog and that he's the life coach willing to share the secrets that would give you everything you're looking for. But deep down, he's a barnacle feeding off other people's insecurities and has made it a business like any other conman before him.
