Low Water, Tree's Everywhere and The Bass Are Munching at New Melones Lake

This time of year I get a lot of 3 lb plus bass out of 50 to 80 ft at new melones. Good video.

It can get much lower. At its lowest point the launch will be at the very tip of glory hole and it will be a hard bottom launch. With a semi circle of brush around it. Your launching from the right side. Still 2 more launches to go under water and then lake would have to be closed. It's insane how low the lake got in like 2014 or so.

Oh wow that's crazy. I had no idea the ramps went that far down. I didn't get to see the 2014 low I didn't live here then.

I was surprised too. That portion of the ramp I didn't even know existed. The last time I was there we launched of the ramp just above that one.

Ahh these trees are probably older than both of us. Here in CA the lakes rise and drop hundreds of feet yearly.
