A wonderful and whimsical mix of nature's beauty and man's talent, even in an off season! I'd love to visit and it would be a perfect field trip for young and old! Since I grew up with a strong love for animals and art, I could spend many hours here! GREAT video, Tom, and I look forward to your future trip here! Thank you for speaking so honestly, freely regarding the art and also the horrific history of plantations (approximately 1:37:36).

I'm happy you enjoyed my tour, this is an amazing property. It's full of history, good and bad. As I stated in the tour, it's important not to remove history, but learn from it. Thank You for your comment

My favorite part was the Red Wolves but I enjoyed the whole episode, thanks Tom , that was nice👍

The wolves were my favorite too. The otters were a close second, they were quite the hams

This whole property is massive, the zoo portion is several miles from the entrance

Next time you make it to South Carolina I suggest you visit the Magnolia Plantation Zoo in Charleston it's pretty similar to Lowcountry

Thanks for the suggestion, I'll add that to my list. I'll see if I can fit it into next year's schedule

Another thing that I heard was at this zoo was this should annoy you but there were two teen boys here once and they threw a bunch of stones at the Alligator while it was in the water
@TomsRoadTrippinАй бұрын
That's really annoying, some youth don't appreciate animals. Makes you wonder what type of adults they'll become. When you have no compassion or empathy towards animals, you most likely won't towards humans either

I see that your video is longer than normal how come you decided to post a full tour this time instead of dividing it into two parts
@TomsRoadTrippinАй бұрын
Normally this would have been a two part release. Since it was a special holiday video, there wasn't enough time in this month for a two part

Tom, i left you 5 questions and comments you havent responded back 2 me

I use KZbin studio on my phone. It's an official app for KZbin that lists all the stats and shows the comments. Something changed the way the comments are shown, it doesn't always alert me when a comment is left. It seems to happen more on community comments. I'm sorry, I'm not ignoring you, I'll try to find your comments

@TomsRoadTrippin Oh, ok. That's ok.

Same thing with mallards Tom
@TomsRoadTrippinАй бұрын
I see Mallard ducks in Florida each year in the Winter. There are domesticated mallards that live in Florida all year long. They are usually found in zoos and parks
