Hi Tom, I enjoyed the Polar Bear swimming in the water it reminded me of the Polar bear I saw swimming in the water at the Henry Vilas Zoo in Wisconsin on my Summer Road trip I went on in Late July. Also I have a question is it true that you are going on a Road trip to the Northwest next year
@TomsRoadTrippinАй бұрын
The polar bears have an excellent habitat. Lots of water to swim in and some dry areas to sleep on. The bear in the water was certainly getting some exercise. Yes, I am going to the Northwest in Spring of next year. I'll be finishing up the lower 48 states. I'm going to fit in as many stops as I can manage

Just a correction you have also seen Markhors at the Rosamond Gifford Zoo and the Columbus Zoo too I think

The Seattle Woodland Park zoo now has snow leopard kittens and a new area I believe called the rain forest is opening up, it has reptiles and amphibians in it.

Very nice, I'll have that to look forward to on my roadtrip next year. Thank You for the info

Did you know that they used to have Grey Wolves there but they got transferred to a Sanctuary and now Red Foxes live in their habitat

I really enjoy both, I don't mind if the wolves went to a better place

Also they used to have Peafowl but they got rid of them due to them being aggressive towards humans
@TomsRoadTrippinАй бұрын
Several other zoo's had to get rid of them due to the same reason. It happens more often when the chicks are young, they are more protective and can become aggressive

@@TreySarver-p5x Have you ever seen the fantasy movie The Labyrinth? One of the characters is named Hogle. I had just watched it about a week before my roadtrips, I must have said it incorrectly because of that. I did say it correctly during my intro and outro
