I used to fish live bait for flounder all the time...until I discovered flounder will hit soft paddle tails and flukes on a jig head just as much, and you can fish faster, cover more area and don't have to wait to set the hook...never going back.

Keep a couple commercially available hot packs in your kit. You may still need sutures from a sting ray hit but heat detoxifies the venom and will save an outing.

We fished friday out that way, and man it was tough! The winds haven’t slowed since February, the water was muddy, and for those that fish regularly around here knows when I say “it didn’t feel fishy”! Between the Lady fish, sharks everywhere, and those monster stingrays makes it tough this time of year! Good job on the “trash can slam”😂😂😂😂😂. Catch em One fish at a time Brother👍
