Dear Doc, My 99 Ultraglide getts to fat mixture, causing my sparkplugs to turn black within a few miles, where can I start looking for solutions for this problem? Can it be solved replacing the injectors if I can find smaller ones? And sorry for my not so good gramma here, I'm from Norway (Europe)
@LowCountryHarleyDavidson6 ай бұрын
The injectors would be the last item to change. Start with battery condition, charging system check, ignition system check which includes wiring, switches, spark plug wires and coil, then air intake manifold seals. The Intake air control module and settings then engine temperature sensor….Doc

Hey doc, good to hear from you bro, I hope everything is going well for you , I got an 06 heritage and had my cam replaced 510 c S&S, also they screwed it up and then they had to take my whole motor apart so I got a 95 bore, later on I needed a stator and voltage regulator but I got a new battery before because of the codes, I dont have any extra lights, stereo or anything else to drag it down, I'm thinking my injectors, I think stock ,,,, are ok. What do you think?
@LowCountryHarleyDavidson9 ай бұрын

There’s more electrical problems with these bikes and cars today then there’s ever been mechanical problems once in a while you get a bad bearing maybe some burnt ranges. Other than that maintain it do your oil changes the mechanical part with a long time electric Wise. It goes bad every year.
