⁠​⁠@@stephaniedavis3107deferred interest means there is no interest if you pay off the whole amount before the period expires. Let’s assume that the offer says no interest for 18 months. You bought an item for $1000 using the 18 month offer. You will have 18 months to pay off this $1000 and you will not be charged any interest. But if you fail to pay off the entire amount, you will be charged all the interest that you would have paid over the 18 months. Now I’m not 100% sure about the last part. But you will be charged a lot of interest. That is what “Pay off before promo ends” means.

FYI: I want a safe card to protect main card. I was looking for a statement if the Lowe's Synchrony card can be used at other than Lowe's. Still looking.

If it is the Visa card then yes you can use it anywhere Visa is accepted. However you only receive the special financing deals on the Lowe's site at a Lowe's.

I’m thinking about utilizing the 84 month 9.99% for purchasing a zero turn. $6K zero turn, minimum payment required would be around $100/month so $8400 for a 6k mower but can you pay it off early with no penalty or anything? Thanks for the information in your video!

I always ask if I can pay it off early without penalty and then verify that it is in writing before I sign anything.

Here is the current fine print. It appears that the 84month/9.99 is for anything over $2,000 lowes.syf.com/paymentcalculator/ , however I would call them to make sure before you do anything.

I want to renovate my home. I have decent credit. Exploring options to do the work myself. Bank requires licensed company to do all the work.

Good luck. Be sure to do your due diligence. Last time I had work done on the home I used a licensed contractor and got the permits with the county, inspections etc. Personally I wanted that so there would be no issues with my home insurance and/or inspections when I sold the home. However I did work with them and I purchased the materials, one way to save money, particularly if you use a Lowes or Home Depot card.
