Very inspiring, will definitely make a trip to my Lowe’s as soon as the temperature goes up. Yours is well stocked. Thank you for taking us there. Happy “visiting”.

Thank you...I love going into shops that beautifully and creatively display plants...I always leave feeling so inspired and full of wonderful ideas of projects I want to try. Hopefully your Lowe's will be stocked to the brim when you visit. Have a plantastic day and enjoy your weekend!

This was the first time I didn't talk throughout my video (Chatty Kathy)...LOL! I figured in most cases you all just want to see the plants...so I wanted to try something new. Let me know if you liked this format or if you prefer me talking and giving descriptions of the plants throughout the video. Thanks for watching! Muuuuuuuah!

@@PictureMaria1 Well yes This is very true. Kind of funny you said it this way as one of my friends stopped by then insisted in an updated house plant tour. Been several months since she has been here and she was shocked at the growth. I have only added 2 plants to my collection since September/October and they are small ones so it is my old faithful plants that are still doing their thing for me. And to think I have clipped/pruned made starts potted and given at least 30 small plants away since then. Anxiously awaiting summer to get my plant family out on the porch.

Ditto what everyone else said, your Lowes has so much more than the ones here! Crazy how much location can make a difference on stock and quality!
@PictureMaria13 жыл бұрын
I for some reason always thought we were the step children when it came to getting good stock. We normally don't get the hoyas and string of turtles and hearts and such...you know the plants that I really want...but I will have to admit they have really stepped up their game with decorative containers and pottery and bringing in more trendier plants. I can really appreciate them for that. I can't wait to see what they will have for the spring and summer! ...and yes I have heard that locations really do vary...I wondering if they do less stock in places where it is colder assuming that because people can't grow them outdoors that there would be less plants being purchased...hmmmmm now inquiring minds wanna know. LOL!

Our Lowe's garden center hasn't even opened up yet! Too COLD!😭💜

OH NO! I am sorry to hear that. Do they have any plants being sold indoors? I am sending warm weather wishes your way. PS What state do you live in? ...and when do they normally open up.
@michelejones42823 жыл бұрын
@@PictureMaria1 Northern Arizona. 2 ft of snow the other day!!! They have very few plants inside. We're in a small city nor like Phoenix!!! So we NEVER have a large selection of plants like you do. Florida should be called tropical plant state!!!😂😘💜

WOW! 2 ft of snow!!!!! Jeeeeeeperz! I’ve been complaining because we got down to the low 30’s this week...I guess I need to keep my mouth shut don’t I!!! 🤭😱😳. I can’t believe that they don’t open up until May. We are going to attend the International Aroid Show this weekend in Miami so here it never is a major issue with getting plants. I can’t imagine waiting that long. I think I’d literally lose my mind!!! Do you ever do online shopping? I know it isn’t the same...just another option. Yes they should call it the Tropical State!!!! You should move here!! You could have all the plants you could want all year round!!! You can’t beat that with a moss pole! LOL!

Mine only sells phalaenopsis orchids. Have never seen vandas, Cattleya, Dendrobiums in stock. And wow the amount of houseplants!! My Lowe’s needs to step up their game 😂
@PictureMaria13 жыл бұрын
HA HA HA! Mine has gotten a whole lot better I must say...they still don't carry certain varieties that some carry...such as hoyas and string of hearts/turtles. But I guess I can't complain. I was just telling someone else that whenever I go out of town I always check surrounding nurseries and garden centers to see what they have. And often times I am surprised. So if you haven't already try venturing out and seeng...sometimes a couple of miles can make all the difference.

What planet is that Lowe’s on?
@PictureMaria13 жыл бұрын
LOL! Planet Central Florida! Funny thing is that most of the time they don’t really have much to offer...but I guess it’s a new year and they are deciding to step up their plant selling game! I am impressed that they are really beginning to focus on the many aspects of having beautiful plants by showcasing them in creative arrangements, containers and displays, which I believe spotlights their wonderful qualities and presents them in their best light and taking the guesswork out plant purchasing. Thanks for watching and HAPPY GROWING!

Awwwwww sorry to hear...have you checked at other Lowe's that may be a bit farther away...sometimes a couple of miles can make the difference. Whenever we go out of town I always check the surrounding nurseries and garden centers to see what varieties they have and many times I've been surprised. But you know me I drive 4 hours out on a regular to go plant hunting...my plants made me do it! LOL!
