Lower Arrow Lake Derby

Lower Arrow Lake Derby - 9 March 2024
Had a blast fishing Lower Arrow Lake with a fun crew.
Fishing was super tough all day, but we grinded it out, swapping lures, depths, speeds, techniques, and locations until we finally connected.
We only got one bite all day but it was the Right One!
We tied for first place with a super healthy 6.61lb Bull Trout caught 200 feet down on the rigger with a plug.
Can't wait for the next one!

That is a very nice fish there Chris. Have you been Kokannee fishing near the boat launch yet? I was wondering when to give it a go.

I haven't yet but some guys have started catching them. Warm temps in forecast should make them more aggressive Hopefully.

I live in Coulee dam Washington and just found your channel. I have been enjoying it very much. What part of BC do you call home? My wife and I spent a month u there last summer and had a blast. Thanks for the great videos.
