"Everyday I have 1000 problems, except for days that I have a problem with my body, then, I have only 1".
This Chinese proverb holds an interesting perspective on how to define mobility. When we move, we don't want to worry about our own body-parts and joints. Usually, the moment we are forced to worry about them is when there is an injury or restriction. Mobility is the practice of chosen awareness rather than forced awareness. It is admitting that taking care of the body will inevitably happen sooner or later. And the sooner the better...
In terms of the lower body I love working with routines or sequences. It is a good way to keep a line of coherence between the practice of mobility and dancing, fighting or training acrobatics.
This particular sequence challenges the movement between hip extension to hip hinging. The solution is a proper use of the head in counter direction and making the circular transitions as smooth as possible.
Been using this one for a couple of good years and so far the results have been outstanding. I hope it will serve you as well!

Thank you so much for this video! Do you think that doing the weighted squat and deadlift and the Olympic lifting are essential or important to have functional legs and to have a lot of transfer to many other movements/patterns?
