Starting the day Staying awake Everything will change While you're asleep While you're breathing Do you believe? No one is waiting Brains without names I found myself turning back to look At the seas of people beneath me Betrayed the design by release of immature emotion I went to work Had my suit jacket and hat in hand A gate's crashed and flung wide Used by our servants; Heads are hanging I went to church and forgot I ever could believe Questions for the past of their clear minds Were their thoughts without designation and division Something desperate's up my sleeve And no lines allow for mapping Cause I close my eyes and feel the teeth of the machine Walking on Us underneath Ever harder to believe I was ever holding my suit jacket And hat in hand Your nightmares/your creation I objected with a knife And when I finally let my guard down I was in the middle of the sea and drowning Don't be afraid Don't be afraid Everything will change While you're asleep While you're breathing Do you believe? No one is waiting Brains without names

How the video starts and how the video ends is the same. But what's in between is what goes on in the head. The struggles, the moments of doubt, not knowing if you'll fail or succeed. But all of this I think makes you ready.

God made this. A genius channelled it to us.
@ISa-jy8ol4 жыл бұрын
.............and that genius doesnt yet identify in their own life how God is/was/will be and always has been with them. The singer strongly identifies as an atheist......all the while combatting difficulty in life like we all do but without the reliance on God..........facing the knife......dealing with the medical industrial complex as the singer undergos gender reassignment surgeries with the expectation that they will be happier once that is done.......everything will change, while your asleep........these surgeries massacre the natural body and the majority of individuals find themselves deeply regretting their decision to go through such an extreme process to accept themselves.........these vulnerable demographics therefore become the victims of our medical industrial complex blaming the struggles which inevitably.follow the procedures on a God they bitterly curse at or stubbornly refuse to recognize. Accept yourself the way you are. Dont hurt yourself for any reason including unneccesary surgeries. If you want to be a man, be one. Dont mutilate your female gebitals to live the way you want to. Boycott allopathy. It murders and maims countless people. Listen to this wonderful song.

@KamadakeX10 жыл бұрын
shamaatae I get that you are just trying to be irreverent, but I guess I'll explain the obvious. She breaks gender barriers because she is androgynous in more ways than one. Her face, the way she chooses to dress, her voice and vocal style. At first impression, most are not able to pin her down, which is apparent in the comment section. I know her gender was ambiguous to me, which I think is pretty neat. At least those are my thoughts. If your experience was to immediately go to "hipster tumbler chick", then that's on you.
@80sNMusic10 жыл бұрын
Dean D congrats
@mr.thundersucklefuzzcanyon33869 жыл бұрын
Dean D ? Are you implying it's better to be gender ambiguous than the other way around? Would she be inherently less valuable if her gender was more obvious?
