I just read on another forum that you can just use a floor jack ànd a block of wood to lift engine . I hope it's true my engine mount bracket broke and have to do what's in this video. Also did you have to remove radiator fan .that's what the mechanic in other forum's say. And do you think jack method Will work just like other person I don't have access to a lift ,thanks.

Can this be done without an engine lift? As I do not have one. Is there anywhere sturdy to jack on the engine or transmission with a floor jack and some wood?

Hi friend, I'm from Mexico and I have a Pacifica 2006, your video was very helpful for me, yesterday I have replaced front mount, it was very hard but I got it, I have a question, is the another one mount motor (rear) the same that frontal, I mean, are they both mounts motor (rear and front) the same, or they are differents?, sorry because my english is not so good. Best Regars Rafael.

how can you tell if a mount is gone just by driving is their a clunk when you stop and go? Thanks.

Too make it easier you can grind off a half inch off the bottom engine mount stud to help with clearance to get it in easier

Ok just did it in my driveway without engine lift. Took less than 15 minutes. Took off motor mount bracket and motor mount in one piece then separated the 2 for easy removal

+Brad Hutter I think you're right I looked at alldata and they say to hold engine with bracket and just remove mount. I went through a lot more trouble and Dr wonder did way to much. Next time it will be a floor jack to hold engine and remove mount

it is best to get the OEM from the dealer because the aftermarket mounts have too much play in it and will require replacement anyway especially for the 2004 FWD model.

U dont need an engine hoist to do this. I did all four mounts with a heavy duty jack. Took me about 5 hours.

I found a better way. Dive the car on to ramps. Disconnect negative battery cable. Put jack under engine/trans to hold it. Remove the bottom bolts from both engine mounts. Remove engine cradle front bolts and let it drop, it will only go down to the bottom of the bumper cover. Remove the two bolts one on the right in plain site and the other that is on the left and faces the radiator. Now remove the top bolt on the left side reach up between the bumper cover and the engine cradle it faces towards the drivers side fender. Now on bolt left facing the radiator ant the top of bracket it holds the AC line. Now jack up the engine till the bottom bolt on mount clears the engine cradle. Turn mount and remove top bolt remove both pieces( and spill oil all over yourself) now your done slide mount in and attach top bolt turn it till other bolts line up. jack up engine cradle till it touches frame and put bolts back in. Lower engine and put bottom nuts on both mounts now attach negative battery cable I will put a video showing where the bolts are and what to remove everything even though I'm done

+Ozark Mountain I used a regular mount with oil because the first one lasted 150,000 miles Advanced Auto .com not the store will match any Internet price and pick it up at the store half hour later. I use rockauto but it has to be the same brand or part number

I think you went a little too far on the disassembly all you had to do after you took the radiator fan out Is remove the lower motor mount bolt take the bracket bolts off and tilt the mount sideways supporting the motor on the lower plate connected to the transmission on the rear motor then using a swivel remove the top 18 millimeter nut with an impact gun and then the mounting bracket will slide off and the mount will come right out I did the whole job in about an hour and a half
