Hi Dr Caesar, thanks for this video. If an eye already has a little more sclera show than the other, and if there is no need to change the canthal tilt, can a canthopexy be done to tighten loose under eye skin rather than doing the usual skin pinch blep which can risk retraction. Thanks.

1. Can an Ectropion Repair be done on a patient that does NOT have Ectropion?? 2. Can Hypertropia occur after Ectropion Repair on a Non Ectropion Lower lid? 3. Can the lower lid muscle be tighten too much that the eyeball will not rotate to the inner corner and get crossed???

Dear M.E. Ectropion repair involves lower lid tightening, this is also used for other issues, such as entropion. I've never seen hypertropia following lower lid tightening. I've seen plenty of very tight lower eyelids post surgery, but have never seen a tight lower lid prevent ocular movement. I hope this is helpful. Best wishes. Ric
