Looks good! A mini split heat pump would be perfect for your garage. Nice and warm in winter and cool in the summer. Just have to insulate the garage doors.

I filmed it immediately after this one and was working on the interior of the car on my hands and knees. I wondered how close I was to passing out at several points. 😆😆😆

Oh yes, that is what I call the "Fat Lip Spoiler". I believe it comes on the PASM equipped models. My C2S came with it. The car looks to me as if the it has a fat lip from a bar room brawl the previous night out! lol Looking good!

On my 2018 991.2, there are two screws holding the upper spoiler to the bumper, they are just offset left and right of the centerline of the bumper. If you are reinstalling the factory spoiler and lower lip, you have to install the upper portion first, then once in place, install the lower lip, which is notched to hold to the upper spoiler and the bumper. The lower lip is held in place to the upper spoiler with two screws far right and left and two smaller pressure screws to the left and right of the large far right and left screws. Easy install once I realized I had to install the upper spoiler first before the lower lip.

Very clean and subtle upgrade. Im in the process of selling my 996.2. Selling my 2012 Focus Hatchback also. Goingnto try and get a 2017-2019 Dodge Charger RT Scat Pack 392 (SRT 8 replacment after 2015). As for Porsche replacment thats still about 18-24mos out.

There are actually two parts. 991 505 525 01 and 991 505 557 00 are the basic part numbers but there are several variations of each. You’re best bet is to give these part numbers to Porsche or a Porsche parts dealer, tell them the exact year and model you have and verify which ones you need.

There are a couple of holes for fasteners if you want to really weld it into place, but no, you shouldn't need them.

Great video! So, in order to remove the standard front lip, do you reckon you could have just "pulled it" (rather than unscrewing) ? Looking to swap front lip on my 991.1

Yes. No need to jack up the car. I just made the change on my 991.1. Pull off old one (no need to unscrew lower part) snap on new. Takes five minutes. No tools required. My only concern is that the non-sport lip is more practical. If you touch a kerb, for example, it's the lower, invisible part that's going to take the hit. The new sport lip is flexible, but if you hit something hard enough, the whole thing's going to break off. I'm going to be careful when parking forwards and keep the old lip just in case!

On my S they call it a wearable items because it’s so low it rubs all the time I wish I had axle lift but oh well I’m very happy with my 2014. I guess the 2017 or 2020 would’ve been a lot more cha ching. Or when ever they added that cool option.

Not that I can see. There are no holes in the plastic that line up with any holes on the car where you could put a screw. It just snaps into place.
