you didnt change the forward spring mounts? Seems like that would throw the pinion angle out quite a bit.

No you don't have to do anything to the front mounts

did you need to notch youre drive shaft for the 8" drop or does it not rub?

No I didn't have to notch it, won't rub rub at all.

Question … why not flip the axel its free ? Just do a 180 where the mount point face down or that mess with the lubrication in the gear housing

I put some front shocks off of a 98 Nissan Frontier and bought some adapters from O'Reilly's to extend the shaft...They fit on the rear of the truck
