Forgot to mention that you should definitely have something to compress the old springs before you attempt to replace them and it explodes in your face. I see that you had something compressing yours but it wasn’t mentioned

For your own safety, NEVER stand over a compressed coil spring like that. Especially when it’s compressed with a janky set of rented spring compressor tools.

Do springs effect car performance or comfort. People keep saying I should get a coilover instead because springs make the car stiff and it’s not comfy anymore and you feel bumps

From what I’ve heard, it really depends on the spring you get. Like a progressive spring will get stiffer the more load you put on it while a normal linear spring will ultimately give the same ride quality if not maybe a little stiffer, but all around it is a solid choice if you’re just gonna lower the car and not really track it

coilovers are definitely for comfort i have sr performance lowering springs on my 2013 mustang gt and bumps hit HARD lowering springs are tough and can be compressed only so much but coilovers can be compressed a lot leaving for a more comfortable ride on bumps if you get springs watch out for bumps potholes dips anything cause you will scratch or youll hear a bad thud in the rear if you get coilovers you dont have to worry much but youll get the same amount of loweringness idk if thats a word but you get me for way expensive example: springs= 2inch drop for $130 coilovers= 2inch drop for $800-$1000 hope this helps and i didnt just yap😁

Did u ever get a panhard bar after installing cuz everyone says the wheel gap is slightly off im on 305/30/19s and they both poke out but the driver side a little tad more
