so when is the public apology on video coming out to the builder of the engine YOU blew up and blamed ?
@Captainperfection3 сағат бұрын
This is not Starmer he doesnt need to make a public apology
@POLESTAR75734 минут бұрын
@@Captainperfection if you blame a company for issues you caused, you should publicly apologise. they caused the builder a lot of grief.

Wasn’t this the bell end who slagged off the guys who built the engine for this nail?

There is something to be said to keeping up on old vehicles. Most of them will treat you well when you take care of them, and typically the older they are, the more you can do to make them yours. Well done, mate!

You really do need to apologise to the car builder publicly really is a disgrace

Coilovers are just struts. I don't get why everyone bangs on about them when they're std fit on nearly everything today. What was taken off were also coil-overs. Nearly all FWD cars have coil-over front strut suspension and many have the same set up at the back.

It's not raked back If you measure the parabolic curve of the front and rear arches youll find the rears are more shallow A lot of cars are designed like this My 2006 Gen4 Subaru Liberty is just the same Which means if you lower your front and rear ride height equally so the car has no rake the rear wheels will sit closer to their arches than the fronts Also front rake can muck with handling dynamics so be careful

Where are Neil and Anthony? I never see them anymore. Are they even still working in the smallest fog?
@geek9642Сағат бұрын
Niel was in the background of the last video in the workshop.. I don’t think they appear on here now just the tv series
@POLESTAR75732 минут бұрын
it'll obviously be ignored by DT but you still never made a mends with the builders of that car that you incorrectly blamed.

Given all the loose hardware, something tells me the lowering springs were the least of your worries. A pair of well fitted lowering springs are significantly cheaper, and when swapped with bump stops, can help preserve a lot of the cars character. Replacing the whole strut assembly is a very different thing, mainly for adjusting rebound and damping as opposed to ride height. Requires a lot more research and fine tuning if they're adjustable.

Lowering springs are better than any sub 1,500 coilover

Nice to see some cars I remember when I was in my ‘boy racer’ phase, still being cared for. They had some real character.

I had the same rake issue on my MX5, ended up putting it on some Meisterr coilovers and the ride height was fixed immediately

did the coilovers make much different to the insurance cost of the car?

Lowering springs are total nonsense. Too bad the OEM springs are NLA. Still think it’s too low at the front for my personal taste. 🤔 Mind you I can’t see how an engine flush is going to affect base emissions to any significant degree…..🤔 I had a 2.5 Ghia Estate in white in the late 90s when resident in Germany. Looked like a Taxi but went hunting to embarrass lower end Mercedes and BMW on the Autobahns.

One of my favourite YTube cars - it still has great presence. *Editor* - _maybe it's just me, but the DriveTribe event details don't appear to be in the video details. Just a friendly FYI_

I put coilovers on my 2013 Challenger, and I can't imagine a better mod. While these cars handle better than people realize, lowering it and stiffening it gives it a really balanced feel, and as long as you are careful on the throttle around corners, it's much less likely to try and wrap itself around a tree.
