With the 10mm spacer, I hearing some vibration with a humming noise...I will check to make sure the screws are fully tightened. The cut down to. 1" is beautiful and i actually ran this at the slowest pace and had a larger overlap since this cuts down on motor load.

I’m not sure if it’s my printer being able to print true to size of your model, but on my Luba 2, the three holes don’t line up. It’s almost like the spacer needs to be 3% larger. Thinking that I was just having a hard time getting everything aligned, I decided to test fit the spacer, without the cutting disk, and sure enough, the holes don’t line up. (Not sure if Mammotion changed the version, but mine also definitely uses M4 bolts)

I have the biggest version, Luba 2 10000. I printed the spacers at 100% scale and the holes didn’t align. I printed again at 103% scale and the holes were aligned perfectly, and it still fits perfectly inside the cutting disks!!! Maybe the Luba 2 has a slightly larger mount?

I went with adding longer screws, deeper shoulder screws using spring washers. This lowered the cut 3mm. The hope was lower cut and less grass under the blades. It did both but motor overload was a major problem while the cut was degraded. The other negative was the 8 bolts and plastic spring washers were like $41 dollars! Do you have a source and price for the bolts? I am back to the stock Luba but following your method with hope and interest.

I bought a big metric screw kit off of Amazon for other projects. The bolt heads are different but still work. I think it was around $25 for a lot of bolts. Here is an assorted M3 kit for $10 amzn.to/3ExGDYH

Just FYI, not sure if it is me or the model - M3 are too narrow in diameter. It appears mine are M4 from the eyeball test. Going to Lowe’s tomorrow to get M4 18mm (can’t find 17mm) to see if this is correct.

Update: definitely M4. I used 20mm in length and everything is working perfect. You could probably lower a total of 12mm total without serious modification.
