I’ve planted one of the tuts in my pond and it grew enormous! I could hardly get it out of the container I planted it in the roots also got massive ! 💐💚🙃 I planted it in an old clay tile we had laying around. 💐💚🙃

Fantastic video as always! I always shop Lowe's clearance. I bought 3 nice Bird of Paradise that are white. I've never seen a white one before. 2 are potted outside, and one inside. They seem to be fast growers! Such good deals there. Love how your love of gardening shines through!

I agree with you, I'd rather have a plant in that size pot for numerous reasons. Less expensive, smaller hole to dig and to be honest a lot of times the larger pots are just more soil and do not equate to a larger plant. I love the markdown racks and haven't been at all this year. I've tried to scale back. Although today I did visit a local nursery that has all their annuals 50% off. Some things I just cannot resist!

I'm growing horehound again this year from volunteers. I plan to make horehound cough drop/candy with it for the winter months.

You can take cuttings from impatiens and grow them on that way. You may not want to mess around with them through the winter though ? Probably easier than from seed. I LOVE impatiens ❤️💐💚🙃

I put my papyrus in a bigger pot with stones on top so it sinks in my pond. This has worked well for me.

I have a hardy banana, my recommendation would be to mulch your bananas through winter. Mine come back without mulching them but they are always starting over. 💐💚🙃

Isn’t mullein a perennial ? I MIGHT try growing some they look awfully pretty ! I also would like to get my hands on a cayenne pepper plant so I can make my own cayenne powder . 💐💚🙃
