Lorn actually pulls off the amazing bass sound that all electronic producers have in their head. I think that's why is resonates with them so much. Great video.

I found Lorn a couple of years ago via a youtube recommendation. Never seen or heard him anywhere else. It's crazy how unknown he is, his sound is so unique and well made. You'd think a TV show or two would have used a song by now...

This was great; only point of feedback is that when running through the sounds it would be nice if you disabled everything on the chain and then switched them back on one by one so that we can hear exactly what every plugin / effect is doing. Otherwise sounds great!

Yes! Dont be afraid to add multiple eqs, even one after the other. Its a way to really organize the sculpting of the sound in your head, and its something we can actually do thanks to todays technology.
@MaxHertz-MHz11 ай бұрын
Yeah, absolutely, agree! Especially with EQ Eight it's really not that bad, the CPU won't suffer from it
@TwoThreadsAhead11 ай бұрын
The bass is pretty damn close in terms of the sound tbh regardless of what people will say it is lacking sonically in regards to outboard gear. The rim layers are spot on! if you want to create the variation that Lorn has in his snare stacks try moving some of them slightly off grid in different orders every time they trigger so that they don't always line up perfectly with each other.
@MaxHertz-MHz11 ай бұрын

@MaxHertz-MHz11 ай бұрын
Hey! Yeah, I think I cut this from the video by mistake where explained 😅This is what also can be heard in the original track, which is quite interesting I'd say, because this is something rather unusual, but gives an overall character to the sound
