you need to epoxy the piston rack onto the piston, loctite the piston head screw, and correct AOE with faucet washer or piston head spacer

I recommend gluing the piston rack onto the piston body. It will help keep the rack in place and lighten the stress on the piston brigde. You can use either super glue or epoxy, which ever one you have handy and works better for you

also, shim the area between the piston head and the piston to correct angle of engagement

You can correct angle of engagement via either the cylinder head or the piston head if needed. Correcting angle of engagement is not always making the pick up teeth meet at 12 o’clock position. I think I gel blaster, since the gel is so light, there’s no joule creep there for wether you correct AOE via the piston head or cylinder head is more personal preference

ahh dsg problems i destroyed 3 plungers before finding a strong enough one. the red one you had, 2 shs ones as the groove were the rack sits isnt full length. a black one from x force fixed that full length groove then super glued it in. also the Perun has a easter egg. spam the trigger after you have done the 12 pulls to hear house of the rising sun

If anyone is looking for a good piston this applies to airsoft mainly but i assume pistons can be the same in gelsoft the kratos piston on evike is the best piston i have ever used, if u just epoxy the rack on it wont break. I have had it for well over 300k cycles of a dsg + ssg build.

the only thing dsg build you must always check piston teeth. ive been using many type of piston. i only take out the teeth ladder and put it on piston that i swiss cheese..like SHS,LDT and TITAN ..fb piston ladder not that really good. so far im using half teeth piston for 8 month already ..its still good

☺😊😀😁😂5 that's why you always go full metal over cheap plastic same box v2 solid steel and barrel. I like my ACR just hooked up the 7.4v 75c 6500mah battery sounds nice on the original motor and gearbox aluminum barrel as the 3 18650 have had there day 😢 but 1.3 spring and running perfect well check tomorrow on the feed as on the cheap 11.1v got a lot off issue.

Hey LowGuido can you help me out i have a custom blaster from a shop up your way which i wont name but its got a perun v2 and it wont go into program mode and fires single shot on semi full auto on safe and auto on 7.4v i plug 11.1v in then i have some crazy 2 to 3 burst in semi then safe and auto are full auto and the shop says gear ratio is the problem and im no expert so i was wondering if you would be able to point me in the right direction if possible

yeah I did, I just never got around to filming a conclusion. parts + personal issues + covid + more blasters to review + other excuses. all stacked up. I will film a conclusion one day because I know that some people want to see it.

Well i got the perun into programing mode but it refuses to give me bloody semi shot it gives me burst or nothing or full auto and cant get safe to be safe mode itis the same as i get in semi

Hey, I have had a similar problem with my piston head screw stripping and head coming off, can you explain what AOE means. I believe it may help me. Cheers from a newbie gel blaster tech lol.

Daniel Trembath AOE is angle of engagement, the angle which the first tooth of the gear makes contact with the piston. You can fix it by putting a pad on the piston head, there are lots of KZbin videos about it.
