Is there a way to sidechain for ducking without applying so much of the compression fx? When I lower the threshold, the dissipates….when I raise the threshold, it sounds muddy? When using a compressor for sidechain compression, do I insert it directly on the track ? Or should I create a “send”?… by the way, using Maschine’s “supercharger” compressor.

Thanks fam! Will definitely do more of these.

This is fire. True skill. What’s the quality of those samples pulled from that archive? Your use of synths took this to another level. I would even think about taking the original chords from the sample and playing them outright with a different vst. Maybe scaler or abletons “melody to midi” feature.

Thank you! The quality of the samples is as good as possible, some of them even have FLAC versions.

Yo. I use the internet archive alot for sampling too. It's easy to spend hours on there. Lol. Good to know someone else uses that hidden gem too. Dope beat too!

Thanks! Absolutely! The Internet Archive is crazy - it has tens of thousands of records 🤯

@@LowHeatBeats How about licence? Do I need to clear the sample to publish beat? Or captions are enough
@LowHeatBeats3 жыл бұрын
@@Shymiya97 This is just a record collection, so it's pretty much the same as digging for records in a store. Most of the time you don't have the rights to release music without clearance. It's not like Tracklib where the whole service is based around easily licensing the samples.

Not sure if you can do it directly from the controller.

Bro waht is your favourite VST for sub bass ?
@LowHeatBeats Жыл бұрын
I don't really use sub bass much, I just use bass. Sometimes I use my own presets from my own packs - The Heat and Synth-Hop Essentials. If you watch my videos and streams you have probably also seen my go-to plugins for bass like Repro, Monark, Microkorg, Triton, etc.

For a hybrid workflow what would be your favorite, this or the Maschine mk3?
Got it. If you're also going to be using the mouse and screen, the Push 2 makes more sense to me. I treat the Maschine MK3 as if it was standalone, I don't look at the computer display.

The Push 2 was one of the worst purchase I've ever made. They have so many defective units, and mine was one of these with stuck pads. I lost countless hours and money in shipping fees. Absolute headache. Cannot recommend. Even though it's built like a tank it's vastly unreliable.
@LowHeatBeats Жыл бұрын
Do you know what the failure rate is? It sucks that you had this experience but I suspect you get that impression because people who have problems are more vocal online, like with any other device. Mine has been flawless for 5 years.
@Keilnoth Жыл бұрын
@@LowHeatBeats I understand I might be unlucky and that people voice their anger louder than their praise. But if you scroll the Ableton forum and Reddit you'll see there are dozens of similar cases. Some claim they had to return the device multiple times. I'm less angry today. 😂
