Kerrigan's mutations are like that in all my playthroughs of LotV. For one thing, I almost never get the Vile Roach for some reason. I only get lurker hydras, and I get the torrasque strain. So yeah.

FYI: You can hit that last crystal from the last bonus objective. Just make 2-3 monoliths and one corsair for vision. It takes a little while, but can be easier than pushing the objective.

1.the main thing about summon fenix is not even his damage , it´s the fact that the vast majority of the enemies will atack him and not your army for 30sec...and since fenix can´t realisticly die it´s 30sec of nearly uninterupted damge time for your army. 2......god damn it loko...when using solar lance AIM and think about what you want to hit, you got all the time in the world....pls...everytime you just fire them away i die a litle bit XD

@LowkoTV Clicking on Fenix repeatedly while he's looking up data on himself, and he'll start to talk about stories. The more you click on him, the more he'll start making references to popular and cult classic movies. I just recently discovered this on accident. I think this only happens during Ulnar missions. At least 2 die hard references.

I find it hilarious how you were so excited to acquire, but never actually USED, that shield overcharge :P believe it or not, the ability to absorb 200 damage on every unit is quite significant, even compared to the power of the force :D. Seriously, it could help solve those problems you were having with not having enough army for any given situation. I find, in particular with high/dark templar, corsairs and colossus and other area damage dealers or glass cannons, that surviving an additional 200 damage per unit is even more powerful than solar lance because the army you've got will often DESTROY the enemy before more than a couple units go down. And I also find it hilarious when you're so keen on getting warp gates, but continually warp-in right in front of the gateways because you didn't even build pylons out from the base. Might as well hotkey your gates (which you do anyway because for some reason you avoid the *built-in* hotkey for warp structures) and just build out of them normally. And then you can chrono one to pump out a ton of units quickly. But possibly the best part of the whole replay was you automatically building a cyber core, not realizing you had, and going "Oh, I need a cyber core. I'll put one right over here." And a small suggestion for anyone who might have trouble with this mission: build pylon centers away from the base, and surround them with shield batteries. Gives you shield-healing whenever you walk past (if you went energizer in this mission, batteries are the only healing available to you) and warp-in reinforcements, but also serves as a location you can bait enemies into and fight in, or a place where you can meet incoming waves of enemies. And as usual, having full shields before entering battle increases the overall longevity of each unit.

I think lowko sort of missed the part where it was revealed that the protoss learned that the xelnaga were not the ones that basically advanced them via the gift of the khala etc it was all amon :O essentially making the taldarim right when it comes down to who to worship (apart from the whole their god wants them dead)

Amon didn't give the protoss the khala, they had something similar to it before he came and modified them (that was one of the reason they interested him). They created the khala after Amon left

The Void Stasis is autocast and is relatively useless. It casts at the most inopportune time, especially if you have multiple. I find it casts on the last enemy I have to kill, repeatedly.

The best way to beat this mission is literally to spam Vorazun DTs... like they have a nice ground AOE, you just need to tank the carriers with Shield overcharge when they exist and snipe those cristals.

To what just happened: Ulnar is a gateway to the void. Amon did merely open it a little as we saw in the cutscene after the last mission. Btw: the door where the void was leaking out in this mission looked very much like the door to the chamber of ascension from the last mission so Artanis and Kerrigan barely got out of the room when they where surrounded by Hybrid and later found by us.

So far the books haven't elaborated on Amon, the Xel'Naga, or the Infinite Cycle beyond what is covered in the games. But Amon can't take physical form outside of the Void so he needs a really powerful body ready beforehand. That body is being made out of Protoss warriors and the corpse of the Overmind. He's also using Protoss and Zerg to make more Hybrid. He is not using the Tal'Darim Protoss for this purpose and plans to just dispose of them when their use has run out, which is why Alarak is so angry. It didn't show it, but Artanis and Kerrigan escaped the temple and made their way back to their ground forces. This mission bears some resemblance to the first SC1 mission where you get High Templar as you're rescuing a Protoss lead and his friend at the beginning.

Psi Storm DOES NOT DEAL friendly fire damage in the Campaign and Coop. After this mission, your High Templars can now have their Psi Storms restore shields to friendly units. They have friendly fire damage in Multiplayer and StarCraft 1, however.

Hey Lowko just so you are aware Amon said that he was making a host body from the overminds corpse, which is back on Aiur. Amon was never on Ulnar when you were he was talking to Artanis and Kerrigan from the void. Also this all takes place after Amon opened up the door to let in the void. Currently in your playthrough Amon is in the void and his host body is being made on Aiur and the door was opened to the void which is a big foreshadowing of what is to come later (spoilersepiloguespoilers).

Shield Overcharge is more like Disc Priest Spell Power Word: Shield. It absorbs damage but does not make you invulnerable like the Pally bubble (Divine Protection) does.

I always find this one tougher than most in this campaign. You're not given enough time to build up a good army and the Hybrid never leave your single base alone, bringing huge scores of infantry with them that need to be Stormed expertly. Kerrigan sending small packs of Zerglings to support doesn't really offset that- she should have been there in person to fight on either her front or yours.

You may wonder why Alarak was able to make Vorazun look like a puppy countering every attack and everything she used against him including an extasis chamber? well according to the TalDarim culture they ascend through power, he is basically second in command and may have killed hundreds, even an elite Dark Templar is nothing compared to him
