awsome professional games are nice, but nothing beats the viewer submitted games in my opinion, there is just something really enjoyable about seeing those absolute random strategies somehow work (or get countered by even more random strategies)

What I really like lately is that the pros are "experimenting" with different builds it seems. Like that game between Maru and Zest, was it, where Maru went for the turret forest and viking and lib army. That was an absolutely awesome game. When it's just the same builds over and over and over, it does get a bit old..

Mutas can be fine at 2000 MMR, as long as you use them in at least _vaguely_ the right way. As in, attack your opponent's workers and run away, rather than faceplanting them into a wall of stalkers and cannons.

If you're struggling and need direction might I suggest Vibe's ("vibe lol" on KZbin) Bronze to GM (B2GM). It does a really good job on teaching macro fundamentals. You can build off of it once you feel comfortable with strategies/playstyles that are more comfortable to you as well; but just make sure you understand the "why" for everything he teaches you (i.e. if Zerg why expand fast, why go for Lair before Ling speed in his builds etc). He does 1 for each race.

@@dinjoe828 if Terran I think his 2019 is mech based, 2021 is bio based. Not to risk overwhelming you if you get to a point where you're maxing out by the prescribed time for the league above you you could also trying mixing in some of Winter's low APM play (for micro) as well. Otherwise Vibe is just have a significantly stronger economy and just "a move" your opponent, and constantly working on remaxing as you lose army supply. At least until diamond. I've been following vibes guide exclusively and it got me out of silver and to having a good amount of success against plat players

@@PenguinIceDelta I'm Zerg, reached Silver 1 by 17 pooling vs T/Z and 12 pool vs P because canon rushers. Reach 100-110 APM in long games. Stuck in Silver 1 for a while now. Already started watching the entire playlist of B2GM 2021 for Zerg and have already picked up a few things from the bronze episodes :)

@@dinjoe828 he actually deals with a cannon and bunker rush as well as a 12 pool as Zerg (I think in silver or gold). We won't ever be able to make up for knowledge he has of the game and how to respond to every situation, but there's a metric ton of useful information that can at least get you through a few cheeses. One thing I would say as well is try and use ctrl groups instead of F2, F2 is a really really hard habit to break. His discord he operates also has a pretty active community that is very insightful and helpful.

Nexus after gateway is actually pretty viable in PvP especially on maps that have a ramp. Few things are off (not having a zealot and his opponent not blocking) but that was kind of close to standard. Maxpax most notably does 1 gate expand in PvP very often.
