In the WoL campaign, Kerrigan's burrow is like that. She just puts her hands at her sides like and sinks right in she's 12 y/o me diving into a pool without knowing how to go head first.

Compared to other top tier Zergs, Serral always burrows a Zergling where the Terran will want to land a Command Center, always sends a lurker or two to harass the enemy mineral lines... these small moves not only cause substantial economic damage, they also demand a great deal of attention from the opponent. Death by a thousand cuts.

i think the jump comes from trying to burrow on the command center and the jump is done to repositionning the burrow default place when the first place is wrong positionning or something like this.

Lowko, the Lurker's jump at 36:10 is because it had a shift command to burrow at a place where the scv kind of stepped before it and blocked it... only that makes sense :D unit tester is to confirm...

The lurker hitbox is bigger when burrowed than his collision hitbox when he is unburrowed. That's why he couldn't burrow so close to the orbital and needed to move away a little bit. And the game shows this antimation for that act.

You can clearly see, whats breaking Marus back are the constant Medivac kills with Vipers. Not only does it cost much ressources and cancel Terrans ability to attack, it also denies drops and any form of mobility while delaying follow up attacks. Maybe thats the future of ZvT

sry, but i got a noob question (in noob english^^). there are almost always air harrassments to bases (drops, etc.) so, 2 anti-air-buildings arent worth building? 2 anti-air-buildings costs 200 minerals - a not (air-)defended base looses (+/-) 4 drones + mining time + pulling back units (which just were attacking or protecting other stuff) - so i dont understand the math - i know, that there must be math...

math is here. Spore Crawler is 75 minerals per se + 50 minerals per drone which makes it (125 minerals in total) + invested Larva + lost mining time + APM. 125 minerals is 5 Zerglings, almost the whole Queen. It also just means if you're on point with your APM you can afford only using Queens as your air harassment demotivators, saving money both by not building and by not losing mining time for more army/tech/upgrades. This risk becomes less and less worth it if you go down through the Ladder to the metal leagues. APM count of players there is so low they definitely need a one or maybe even TWO additional static defence units so they don't die to anything stupid. Players of Serral's calibre don't need this safety from dying from something stupid, they need more cash for their eco and army development. spamming static defence on the highest levels of play is viable though. sometimes you get into situations when you got underwhelming army but stellar economy so you shitpost several stat defence units and lure your opponent to them or just use them passively in order to buy some time or outright kill some opp's units if they don't pay enough attention to their runbies. that's it.

@@mke7 they're equal in mineral cost but you could've used 5 lings more to kill your opponent. and instead, you made yourself faux safe by losing your firepower and raising your stat def amount. pro players are usually a couple units short when they lose. they squeeze units from every possible scenario. that's why losing 5 lings to build a Spore is OK in Silver and is a complete weirdo move in higher GM.

Serral is unmatched, only the second greatest player is able to beat him at his best, and that's Reynor. Maru is not even close, and that's with the huge advantage of using the broken race.

0. Expensive. 1. Usually nothing worth casting an Interference Matrix upon. 2. Zerg units are too fast for casting Anti Armour Missiles without nerfing your own units with firendly fire as well. 3. Auto Turrets are fine but your APM is already completely consumed by splitting your bio. 4. Ghost deals way more damage. 5. Constant aggression, common in highest ranked Terrans, prevents active Creep spread in the early to mid game and infinite scans help in the late game. That's why Raven is a nice-to-have and not must-have.

@@cyberkekosis how many mules are wasted by just scanning ? one raven just to clear creep seems worth it. also why don't Terran ever sneak bases you never see them do it in pro games always the predictable base which usually gets run-by anyway. terran could sneak a far away base and mule mine it, if it gets discovered later fly it elsewhere. plus the fact that you're drawing your opponents mineral pool down it's doubly efficient. seems like all terran players are stuck doing the same thing.

Sure for lower leagues this is argument but SC2 is and always has been balanced around GM and above. And besides that Medivacs are faster then dropper lords so the speed isn't that significant especially because lurkers off creep are kinda slow.

Thats not exactly the same. Protoss robo time is crucial so if they start making observers then they can’t make something else Terran has no excuse. Anti armor missile is super strong and the starport has a lot of down time

​@@grittytheg5077 If you don't want to lose yes it is totally impossible to put an extra Factory into your build... that really tells me you haven't played Terran. With Bio literally every pro Terran only has one Factory until the super late game. Then they can add Factories for a Mech transition, but that's not part of their build. Or they add a Starport (Vs Protoss). Bio keeps the lings off the tanks very well, if they leave them unsupported they took a bad engagement.

Serral games are getting quite stale and boring tbh. The dude is a real master, but plays predictable and once you get over the impressive mastery of zerg, it gets very old very fast. ...and I've seen way too many of his games
