Wow game 3 was super exciting to watch. I'm really enjoying goblin's play style and i'm super excited for the future of SC2! Its only going to continue to evolve more and more! Cheese is being re-defined! The longer SC2 is played the more I feel it will become a multi-layered cake similar to how golbin is playing in game 3. The more I see top level Zerg play opponents who can't be read so easily the more I see them being held back by their drone count, its almost like they are becoming less and less flexible as they desire their drone count to reach a certain number before they feel they can properly respond. The longer this goes on the more the opponent feels they are in control of the match which slowly weakens the opposing player mentally. Thank you for another lovely cast Lowko! I noticed that too. It looked like he went with his corruptors togeter with roaches (?) to deal with Zealots. Maybe he had them on one control group. Anyway, this missclick might cost him a game. Another thing, there was Zealots already, so wy didn't he made banelings as a counter. I mean, I lost once in silver because I had 120 army Corruptors and lost because of some Zealots. But he is GM who should predict that kind of things.

Goblin could have easily won the first game if he'd just killed the structures instead of running back to defend. Although he didn't know there weren't any other structures hiding anywhere else, so that makes the decision harder.

Game 3 is so close to what I want PvZ to look like. Mass Phoenix wiping out the overlords, but following that with DT's. Wipe out the overlords and there is no detection. And DT's hit so hard. The only difficult part is both DT's and Phoenixes are micro intensive units.

Elazer should have just double/triple expanded in the last game and let the natural die off and just be a vacant spot for the time being.. protoss invested 800 minerals to kill an expansion that wasn't even really running yet and zerg decided to instead make useless spines to get his natural back.. big mistake..

Goblin was definitely pretty dumb to be moving the probe in and out of overlords vision on game 2, that idiocy lost the game. If he had just sat still and build up out of vision Elazer probably wouldn't have scouted it and acted so quickly. Sure it woudlnt have stopped the ravages but it would have possibly given goblin the time needed to set up.

I just got diamond as zerg and have a really hard time vs toss cannon rush and to see that even the pro players can't deal with it is so demotivating, to say the least. Ofc, my toss opponents are not as good as Goblin, but I'm not Elazer myself.
