Said this earlier in 2024 but this past 12-18 months has somehow reached the point where, when maxed, Terrans have realized stacking Orbitals, Zerg with mass creep and Nydus and Toss with mass Gate... It's a lot of fun to watch!!!

That third game turned on the strength of ByuN sucker punching Astrea repeatedly. Protoss army walks in, suddenly there are Terrans cropping up from every bush and alcove, dropping down from ledges, popping out from behind rubble, and the expensive Protoss units just evaporate in the moments between "It's a trap!" and the retreat reaching a safe distance.

Man I've been off of SC2 for years now but coming back to just watching events in the current Clem and Serral Age, the game is so much better to watch now. I love how the players and the meta has evolved so much that stuff that people used to disregard are now pretty much standard like mass orbtial, Nydus, etc and now seeing these Dark templar and Momma ship stuff is great to see. The games I used to watch 4 or 5 years ago were nowhere near the peak of SC2.

Astrea is probably my favorite protoss right now because he makes such unorthodox moves. MaxPax and Hero I feel are a little too standard with their strategy

Never played Starcraft but love watching these casts... it really seems the humans are way over powered they have an answer for every unit of the protross and the protross has to rely on on hoping that their attacks hit or the humans make a mistake.

Astrea has a very nice gameplay. His gameplay is very methodological. If he gets slightly faster he will be a top tier protoss.

Astrea could have use centuries with that mothership recall to main base, instead of using slow down from mothership he could have use force fields in a choke point preventing any Terran army from entering. I don't know how easy to execute that. But that would definitely mean death to main base and less losses

Terran must be the most boring of the races. Just tons of three different units and you seem to be able to win against all. Not only easy for beginners but also very effective at high levels. I always cheer for the underdog and it is always either protos or zerg, never terran

I suck with only like 40apm. I can't pull it off properly, but a mothership recall against (most) terran, destroying all turrets with a cloak right after is a great idea to win games. If a pro did that, it would probably become the meta for tvp

Protoss is played so wrong it hurts me. They are the best but are played the worst. Warp gate is a crutch. It should be used to double bulster the units spawning in and running across the map not only spawned this way. Momma ship is supposed to be used for fake base trades. Void rays as hit squad's. Oricals as trap masters so you can fake lose a fight and run and keep a good portion of units in stasis in def. Like please protoss be better you can. Once I get a CPU and have time to play I want to show people you can suck but have great strategies and still get far. Then a better player see what I started and show the rest how good protoss really is.
