As a former Silver League Player, I can attest that this doesn’t happen too often. Most of the time, both players max out their armies and whoever loses their army GGs out.

I can confirm, It happens a lot. Photon cannon rush followed by Void-rays only, is the silver-standard.

According to this lunar calendar that I have, it's indeed a bad idea to cannon rush a Terran player, but only during the times of the moon's third quarter to first quarter, and at new moon. However, after the first quarter, when the Crescent Moon rises.... that's when the cannon rush is the strongest.

I've read people say there is no difference between silver, gold and plat... (usually diamonds who say the game starts at diamond and everything under them is trash, or master who say the same thing but for master). I have to say that having been from bronze to plat over my time on starcraft there is a huge difference. And this game is making me cringe so much now when I would definitely not have been able to do better when I started.

@Cgi Dude That's dumb. You could say the exact same thing but replace plat by bronze and master by plat in your answer. Also as I said, there is a clear difference in understanding of the fundamentals between plat and silver. Master think diamond are retard, diamond think plat are retarded, plat think gold are retarded etc... So yes saying that bronze to plat is the same thing is just a way for players to boast. And I didn't say it explicitly, but my point was that people with your logic are really harmful for the game because they make people feel bad about their accomplishment, telling everyone that their progress are meaningless because they suck anyway, despite how tangible those progress might be, it's the best way to push people away from the game.

FYI : Lifting your building while getting cannon rushed is the best way to lose, but terran is still the worst race to cannon rush : When you are being cannon rushed : make marines and try to slow down the cannons' expansion while making a factory and a siege tank in the background.
