The mine and the ghost have both been nerfed harder than the any unit Zerg has every had nerfed. Maybe you can consider the broodlord the most nerfed unit, but it's not nearly as core as the widow mine. Zergs lose their minds over 5 hp on the baneling when the mine got a massive 35% aoe reduction, lost it's invis, got a 20% nerf on burrow speed, and got 3 quality of life changes to make it easier to micro against. The ghost lost the emp upgrade, got the emp energy and shield damage massively reduces, lost snipe range, snipe can be cancelled by running away, and now is cost 50% more supply. Those are the 2 units that allow Terran to play an active tempo focused lategame. You are comparing that to 5 hp on the baneling and saying Zerg has been hit harder. Terran is in it's weakest state vs Zerg since the balance counsel. Attributing top Terran winrates to anything except the maps would be ridiculous.

Terran has become this machine that is optimized and buffed to negate everything thrown at them. Some players can control said machine but others just flail with it.

Oh man, only terran can win a game after losing like 40 workers in the first 10 minutes lmao Edit: man tbh I'm so bored by terran bio these days, I want it to get nerfed not because it's too OP but because it's boring as hell, it has been optimized for like years at this point and I feel like 9 out of 10 times terrans don't really have a reason to deviate from M+M+M plus siege tanks, libs and ghosts in the late game...

True. Remember those old (balanced) days? Marine is cheap, but low HP. Careful because heal is slow and the medic should be CLOSE to the unit . Now they have bonus HP forever and healed almost instantly. Break down all Terran units specs and it is a very unpleasant surprise They all have one or more: -Are armored -Have high HP -Deal splash damage -Have Attack and/or movement speed -Deal Bonus damage -Can cast spells (including Yamato gun) -Attack air and ground -Are free -Cloak -Climb riffs -Long range (really long range) -GLOBAL VISION/DETECTION!!!!

Terrans are so broken they can win games with marines (the most basic unit) without workers. Just mules (free) The fact they removed air attack on Zerg units make the coward strat of "flying structures" soooo absurd. You are losing your base? Fly away and repair mid-air....

​@@submitted6689 Yes. Zerg has been nerfed a lot. Back on SC1, hydras (antiair) used to be basic units and were overall stronger. Now they are mid-game/support units only Zerg has no antiair in early game, except for queens (more expensive now (175 mineral), which have low dps and are defensive units) or spores (static defense) The Zerg antiar is: Ravegers are "anti-air" but need to be morphed from a roach. Roach 75/25/2 Raveger 25/75/1 So each raveger really costs 100/100/3 + about 30 second to spawn and morph You need to manually aim and the vile lands after a delay. The opponent can see where it will land so can simply move. Hydras require Lair tech (150/100) + the Hydra den (100/100) a total of 250/200 + build time. Hydras have very low HP and require upgrades (range and movement speed) so they are more a secondary or support unit rather than antiair. Mutas, squishy AF and are easily countered , they are more a harassing unit. Expensive 100/100/2 each Corruptors deal relatively low damage: 14 (yes, only 14) and the only bonus damage is vs massive. Good luck taking a BAttle Cruiser down dealing 20 (14+6) damage vs a 400HP bc , or even worse, a flying Terran structure (armor+1500+ avg HP) You need a Spire, though, for any of these units so 150/100 for Lair + 200/200 Spire + over two minutes of build times is required Byun survived because simply lifted his base (plus all other Terran raze benefits)

This game doesn't feel worth watching anymore. The new balance patch changed NONE of the meta strats, even the overseer/nidus shenanigans were something rogue was doing before the patch. Terrans were winning elwithout ghosts before the patch too. The literal only difference is a massive hamfisted buff to the mothership making zvp EXACTLY as rigid and boring as zvt.

Why would they bring back Neon Violet Square? That map is heinous on the eyes as a spectator, and complete ass to play on from every game I've seen on it...there is a gigantic open field in the center with obnoxious little boxes in it. Am I missing something? Is there some nostalgia for this particular throw back map? I'm all for rotating in past maps and such (even though there's no shortage of new maps to choose from), but how is this a W?

It's a tricky map, air can be used effectively, they changed the destructible rocks a bit to make macro more playable. The middle is an empty death zone, avoid it, and expand along the flanks on the middle ground. It's a change of pace from the grim and gritty style maps, WoL had some dope urban maps, parks, and cars driving around, very soothing, this is the disco map.😂 Ramparts and islands would work again, Z used to be at a disadvantage before the dropalord buff and Ravagers, I used to love dropping siege tanks on ramparts. 🎉
