How to become a windows power user 💪:
Debloating:
Download the repo and open a PowerShell command line in administrator mode. Run Windows10DebloaterGUI.ps1, If you get errors because Windows doesn't allow you to run the script search the error online because there is a command to bypass that. Also, make backups of your important files before messing up with things like this just in case. I haven't had problems but it is better to be safe than sorry.

Uninstall anything:
wise-program-u...
(be careful to not uninstall things you need, also don't uninstall ms store because it will uninstall many things that you might need)
Shortcuts:
Ctrl + Shift + Escape: Open Task Manager
F2: Rename files
F11: Full screen for most apps
Win + E: Open File Explorer
Win + W: Draw stuff
Win + Shift + S: Print Screen
Win + P: Second Screen Settings
Win + A: Sound Bluetooth, etc settings.
Win + N: Notifications Pannel
Win + Alt + R: Record current window
Win + G: Open Game Bar (view recordings)
Win + +: Zoom in
Win + Tab: See your virtual desktops.
Ctrl + Win + D: Create new virtual desktop.
Ctrl + Win + Left Right Arrows: Move to the left right virtual desktop
(Or swipe with 4 fingers on the track pad for laptop)

I'm using arch but some things are way too annoying (configuring gpu stuff like FSR, overclocking, etc all require different programs), you need a separate program for sound devices, you need 3 different programs to run a videogame (which only sometimes works), each game has its own windows folder so it's incredibly hard to backup all your gamesaves at once, I've also had issues with advanced monitor features like disabling dithering or color ranges (on Windows i can go into amd control panel and choose 6 bit or 8 bit really easily), I could go on and on, but essentialy you end up having 30 different applications for stuff windows has built in, (not specifically dissing arch but linux in general)

PowerToys have File Locksmith, which works pretty same as Lockhunter.

thank you! even though I knew almost all of them. I haven't been using multi Desktops so far mainly because of the animation between switching. After looking it up I've found that you can easily deactivate the (/all Windows) animation's in the Settings. This vid definitely changed how i will use my PC in the future.

Tip for Everything search: rebind win + F to sth else with power toys and use that to open Everything search. It's like ctrl F but for the entire PC (I have it on ctrl alt shift F)

I would argue that this windows desktop setup is slow and inefficient. It should look like this: Desktop 1) Cursor Desktop 2) claude Desktop 3) chatgpt Desktop 4) lm studio This guarantees you best practices, incredible speed and precision. (Im using joking btw)

Thank you for these suggestions. Suprisingly my ISP, which is Tele2, detected the lockhunter page as a malware page on one browser, but not on another. Sus... because I have had issues when trying to delete stuff from machine before...
