Hi Mr. Fong. I really like the teaching videos. After seeing you step through the installation process, and put it through its paces, I'm tempted to stop by and purchase some new tech from your store. I live in Los Gatos and Valley Springs but might make a trip to Sacramento soon. One small suggestion, I'm old and a little hard of hearing. One thing I've noticed about many KZbin channels, the music in the background is hip and cool, but... a little loud for trying to discern and understand the conversation. Please keep up the good work. I'm sure I'm not the only Wanna-Be fisherman that has followed you and Warren over the years and appreciates it.

Great video I did the install and ghost never popped up so I kept doing update then I watched the whole video and went to advance and turned ghost 👻 on .. thanks Allen..

Where and What SD card are you using? Does it come with the Ghost ? or the New 3n1 nose cone ???????

You have to get the mini SD card and get the smallest one you can find. Then go to Lowrance web site and find your unit and download the software to your SD card. Then put in unit and let it update the unit.

Great video Alan, when using the 360 can you still do anchor lock or you have to be moving slow for the 360 image

Yes you can! If your talking about the ghost? The dial on the right side pedal is the speed control.

Hi Allan, please help... I'm new to this... hooked up everything myself. Currently have the ghost and hds 7 live with 3 in 1 nose cone. I hooked up everything without using NMEA 2000. My problem is the HDS live is not recognizing the trolling motor. When I go to update the ghost software, it doesn't list it as an option to select and upgrade. Also my Autopilot option on menu bar shows nothing, it doesnt give me the options to select how which way I want the propeller to face when stowing the ghost. I've already purchased active target and would like such features. Is my wiring wrong? Side scan, down image, 2d work. Just learned how to trurn on 360 from your video so havent test to see if that works. I just updated the latest software with my wifi. Suggestions? Thanks.

you need to hook up the NMEA 2000 for the ghost to talk to the live. You need the starter kit and power the line.

I have ghost trolling motor and elite fs tied into a nema2000 network. I have the nose cone and ghost 360 turned on and activated on me elite. When i access 360 and push the scan button i keep getting a notice that says active pilot is engaged. Disengage and try again. What is this and how do you fix it? Ive got lots of opinions and cant seem to be able to solve the problem. Please help if you can,it would be greatly appreciated appreciated !!!!

First I would update your Elite to current software to 23.3 and then upgrade your ghost trolling motor. Then when you turn them on restore defaults on your Elite FS. I work at the Sacramento Fisherman's Warehouse and we can update these if you bring your boat over. But call first and make sure I'm there.

kind of odd that Lowrance doesn't include silicone grease to grease the o-rings to help with waterproofing? Hmm kinda weird.
