Lowrance Tips : Configure Your Ghost Buttons and Leaning your NMEA Network

With the Release of version 20.0 for the Lowrance units, we can no control the Ghost Trolling motor, and configure our Ghost buttons on the pedal. We also learn the importance of properly powering your NMEA network. I'll be making a wiring adjustment shortly!

Thanks for the information. Just put my a Ghost on recently and wondered why the the Autopilot was blank. Headed out tomorrow to calibrate it so I’m glad I came across your video.

I have the Neima 2000 linked to the Ghost and the HDS 9 and everything reading in the device page with the power on but it it not showing up in the autopilot page. How do I get it to pop up in the autopilot page to set the switches for the ghost?

Great info Charles. These owners manuals I got with my new boat suck so it's nice to find these how-to tips. That said, I have a question. I just got my Nitro Z18 with Lowrance FS7's and Ghost TM on it and I'm not getting any down or 2D imaging on the front FS7. I'm sure it's a simple setting issue but I can't figure it out, any advice?

There are is a sonar cable that goes into the back of the unit, and a NMEA that hooks into your NMEA network. It's the NMEA cable that allows you to control and update your ghost. I don't think all the Elite models work with the Ghost. These are the ones listed on the Lowrance site: Elite FS and Elite Ti².

Hey brotha is the point 1 the gps puck that came with the ghost trolling motor? I set my ghost up but not seeing the pick come up on the device list

no, the puck that comes with the trolling motor is different from the Point One, and specific to the trolling motor. The pucks are unrelated to the device list. I believe the TM needs to be hooked up to you NMEA network to be viewed on your device list.
