Hello Mr. I see that the XYZ axes are always in mm can I put the reading in degrees as if they were 3 horizontal indexers and maybe add more axes or indexers as A B C and if you can also add a speed regulator to the head or Motor? it is for a Nema 17 notor with a reducer with a ratio 100/1 I have 3 motors and their reducers to be indexers in degrees thank you

Hello Doug. This project looks like it is progressing nicely! I have a couple of questions for you. 1) How are you communicating with your Jackpot board? WiFi, or USB? The position on your display updates quickly. I am using WiFi and the web GUI, and it takes a long time for data to update on my display after moving or changing something. 2)I can't believe how easily the supports came out of your 3D print. I wonder if you could share your secret?

The pendant is currently designed to be connected to the Jackpot board (or 6-Pack board) by a cable or cord, containing four wires: power, ground, Tx data transmit, and Rx data receive. In the various listings on Printables for this cradle, of which there are now three editions, each one includes a screenshot showing the slicing in Cura, including having the support panel open in the screenshot so that you can see the exact settings I used for the tree supports in Cura. Also, please take note of the shaded areas that indicate support blockers. By carefully limiting where the supports were placed, it makes the job print faster, use less filament, and increase the ease with which the supports are removed. If desired, I can actually share the saved .3MF Cura file, and the G-code produced by it.

When I first replied, I mistakenly said 5 V power. That’s not accurate. In my case I’m running 12 V power. That gets used both to power the LED lights in my momentary switches, the two buttons, but that is optional, and also to power the M5 Stack dial.

@@design8studio Thank you for the quick response! I will check out the Printables. I use PrusaSlicer, so I will attempt to replicate your settings to see if I can achieve supports that detach cleaner.

Does this dial work with skr v1.2? Board

@@jerrydparks5173 The dial probably can work with just about anything. But the crucial issue here is that the firmware that we are using for this pendant is made to work with FluidNC firmware on the main board. SKR boards typically have Marlin firmware on them, which would not be compatible with the firmware that we are using on this pendant.

While the dial works with just about anything, the key here is the FluidDial firmware, which is made only for the FluidNC firmware on the mainboard, which in the case of a V1E machine, is most likely a V1E Jackpot, although it could be a Bart Dring 6-pack board, which the Jackpot is based on. The FluidNC dev team makes the FluidDial firmware. It's tailored to both the M5Stack Dial and the FluidNC system. The SKR boards usually run Marlin firmware, so the dial would not work with that.
