Portugal travel is unbelievably beautiful, especially in the Algarve region in the south of the country. If you're looking for a Portugal travel guide, look no further, as here are my 10 best things to do in the Algarve!
For our recent trip to the Algarve, we were based in Carvoeiro and used this as a jumping off point to see the beaches, the mountains, the cities, the villages and all the way along the rugged coastline. Come with us as we show you the 10 best places to visit in the Algarve, from the stunning Benagil Cave and Ponta da Piedade formations to the historical town of Lagos, the bustling city of Faro, and the quaint fishing village of Ferragudo. You'll visit the highest point in the whole region and stop off at one of the world's most beautiful beaches: Praia da Marinha (or Marinha Beach). @@LozsLeisure Sorry for the delay in responding. We hit up Albandeira Arch for a sunset and a full moon rise at the same. Truly Magical! The Carvoeiro Caves boat tour was very cool. The small boat could get into some of the caves the bigger boats couldn’t. We also went farther south to Olhao and took the ferry to Culatra. One of the longest, peaceful, and unpopulated beaches we have ever seen. Thank you again for helping to make our trip Amazing! Cheers!

Vielen Dank für das tolle Video 🇵🇹. Wir kommen seit Jahren her nach Lagos. Hier haben wir ein kleines Haus ca 5min zu Fuß hinter dem GRÜNEN HAUS. Lagos ist wirklich ein Traum. Alle eure Tipps erlebt. Ich empfehle vorallem auch die Westküste mit unseren Hausstränden castelejo und cordoama nahe Vila do bisbo an der N125. Am 5 bis 26.7 geht es wieder runter. Obrigado und adeus 🇵🇹 🤘 ❤

No problem at all! I went to Monchique and climbed up to Mount Foia but on the other days looked at the cliffs and caves you highlighted as well as a couple of lagoons. I’ll put a video together for my channel eventually!

Thanks for your lovely comment - reading it has made my day 😊 we were there in October and got pretty lucky with the weather to be honest - it was a mini heat wave while we were there so mid-high 20s (celsius) and no rain. All I'm gonna say is: GO FOR IT!!!! Carvoeiro is so brilliantly located and has great restaurants. I'm 99% sure we used PAA (link: paa-rent.pt/) through some sort of car hire booking site. They were absolutely great - no hassle and SO friendly. Highly recommended! Anything else, just let us know on here or on IG @lozsleisure and we'll be happy to help where we can. Have fun!

Congrats for the video Well description of thr region I have my house in Carvoeiro ,and i agree your description Only one thing Pastel de nata it s a sweet from Lisbon ,here if you like regional sweets ,you have D Rodrigo Sweets of almond (fruits fish etc) Bolas de ovo (sweet with eggs and almond ,covered whith white sugar and a paper But i hsve like very much your video Congrats

Not sure on how to get from Lisbon to the Algarve as we flew straight into Faro but I'm sure renting a car would be great as you could stop in lots of different places along the way too... when are you going? Ahhhh have a great time in Lisbon! The Algarve was absolutely GORGEOUS but not sure where to recommend if no car - it may be easier to get to Lagos and from there you can enjoy the stunning coastline with the beaches and Ponte da Piedade and the vibes of the city too. From a quick look it may be shorter to Albufeira, where you could almost certainly get a boat to Benagil cave etc. If you're willing to do the journey, I definitely think it's such a stunning part of the country!

Hey! We hired a car so it was very easy for us. We carried some cash but mainly used credit/debit cards that offered a 0% fee on foreign transactions.

@@nacomeno I have the DJI Air 2S - brilliant drone! For anyone looking to start out with one now though I always recommend the DJI Mini 3. Still a bit of an investment, but brilliant quality, portrait shooting if you want it and a great size!
