Every single person has had the same reaction when you hear LP for the first time. Is this a guy or a girl? That voice! WTF?!! How could I never had heard of her before? I read somewhere that she has much more success in Europe than the US even though she is from Long Island, New York.Two of my other favorites are Into the Wild and When We're High. Also her version of Halo by Beyonce is amazing! Her mom was an opera singer so I think that's where she gets that great voice.

A few days ago...Beth Hart...and now LP?! 😃😍 You are on a roll, now!👏🏾I, too, was drop jaw the first time I heard LP back in 2018 , (fair to say, vocally and physically, her androgeny threw me off too...wasn't at first if she was a she ) - the ease of her musicality and vocal talent was stunning...gave me full body goosebumps! 😍😲🙊🙉🙈 And this is one of my favorite showcases of the gifts she has- this song is such jam...a rare song I can put on repeat 20 times and not get sick of!)! I'm at 3:05 into this...... Never heard of this Artist. I am very impressed. Can not wait to hear what other surprises this song brings. Solo, bridge, closing it out etc. .. Very unique sound. Not only vocals, but the use of timing, empty space, quick insertions ( whistle etc), The fullness of the cadence of the song. Etc etc. This IS WHY I love music. When your absolutely and fully sucked into a performance. 100 percent of my attention...and not but choice. It's as if...I am the song.....

I am a new fan of LP she just started showing up in my feet and once I heard the song I was hooked she is very active in the LGBTQ community all of her songs have very unique blue Z hippie tones to them. I thought she was from France but I heard the other day that she's from New York I don't know how I've never heard of her in the United States it's so odd But it's just amazing how KZbin you get to see so many artists that are just underrated when she should be up there on the top Billboard charts

From what I understand LP has said that they are non-binary and the pronouns are they/them. I see so many write "she's a woman" etc that I get unsure but from what I understand LP do not really bother with correcting people who still say "she/her" because it would take too much of their time/life but still people should show respect and say they/them and non-binary and not she/her and woman.
