I saw her in concert twice last year and met her once. I swear she can see into your soul! She is so, so wonderful in every way. The most beautiful human being. Check out Too Much, Down in the Valley, Torch (videos aren't exciting LP isn't in them) but the songs are amazing. This woman could sing the phone book and make it sound amazing.

The opening of Tightrope is basically her against the white male patriarchy of corporate EVERYTHING. Something she’s been up against through bidding wars, 7 record labels( including Def Jam & Warner brothers). At one point she resigned herself to ‘ just’ being a song writer. Her writing partners a Mike Del Rio and Nate Campany as well as her manager Marc Jordan at Rebel One thought otherwise. After playing Lost On You, Muddy Waters, and Strange for WB they dropped her. A random DM on IG from ‘ a guy in Greece’ turned her into a world known artist, especially in Europe, Russia, and South America. USA is too consumed by ‘ the image’ . Btw, the woman in Tightrope, When We’re High, Other People, and the end of Lost On You is her fiancé.

I can’t understand how labels pass up on artists. I don’t know what metric they use to measure talent but it’s their loss honestly. They’re so many great talents in the world and there is room for all of them social media is making it easier for them to be found independently but now algorithms are doing the same things as labels but I’m glad LP was able to make great music like that and we’re able to find it and love it.

TheSydHampton The metric is money and marketability. LP is who she has always been. She refused to compromise to fit into somebody else’s box. That goes for her music,the production and her image. She’s said that what she wears on stage is what she’d wear on the plane ,tour bus, etc. I saw her last year in Chicago and it was the concert of my life. She’s as good or better live. And she engages her fans, bends down to sign autographs mid show, catches cell phones tossed by fans for 360 degree selfies.

The little dog iin the Tightrope vid is actually LP's dog, Orson! She's put out so much music, diverse selection of work. Check out the version of Recovery for the KZbin session, so delicate. You should listen to Muddy Waters for sure! She also does an amazing cover of Beyonce's Halo. Honestly, I don't think you can go wrong with any of her stuff. I would also add Dreamer from the same KZbin session. So good!

Great reactions👏👏👏🎶‼️. Just landed on your channel cuz I am a huge LP fan and your enthusiasm and appreciation for her super talent is fun to watch. You mentioned her whistling. She actually is an incredible Whistler. There is a video called The Whistle Off and you won't believe your ears! There isn't a wrong choice you can make when exploring her work but she did a cover of Beyoncé's Halo which for me actually improved upon the original which is hard to do. She performs live with a band in an intimate venue and I have watched and listened so many times and I always look forward to the next time. I going to subscribe to see if you ever read this and do more LP🎶‼️✌️

A favorite of mine is LP "Shaken" live performance. What a powerhouse she is. Livestream Aug 1, 2020 It's a MUST watch, hear and react! Recovery is so beautiful, and so sad at the same time. I discovered LP about a year ago, I've yet to find a song I don't like. Listen to Muddy Waters next!
