R.I.P. Maestro Seiji Ozawa. Marvelous Ravel, with a legendary “French” symphony orchestra in Beantown.

40 years ago, my girlfriend was leaving me. I gave her the complete Ozawa/Boston Ravel set on vinyl as a hopeless token of my affection. I wonder whatever happened to her

Did she tell you why she was leaving? None of my business of course, but It seems like you really cared about her and wanted her to stay. It was a lovely gift. I remember the first time I heard The Mother Goose Suit,it was a CD of The Montreal Orchestra conducted by Charles Dutoit,it blew me away, the last section is so heartbreaking and beautiful it made me cry. I listened to it with my mother, that was a long time ago, she in unfortunately suffering from bad dementia now.
