I would put a mask first before adding to the cockpit.

When picking out small details on instrument panel, I dry brush it in whatever colour it needs. It’s a lot easier than trying to carefully trying to paint it on directly. Good build btw, very enjoyable to watch.

Such great detail in the cockpit that no one will really see. Lots of work for little return, except for you alone. I just did a Tamiya 1/48, and all my minute detail is hidden for the most part. But, overall this is really great work.

That's a beautiful cockpit job, James. Don't think my eyes could handle the wires! It's always a shame when you close it up and can't see much, but there's a lot of enjoyment getting there ....

A very unique paint scheme. One I have never seen on a Zero before. Loved the build start to finish. The wiring on the engine and in the cockpit added an extraordinary amount of scale effect detail to both areas. Job VERY well done sir 👍👍

Looks great, I've learned many very interesting things, I must check VMS and more MRP also. And I give You one advice - it is good to use cap for airbrush cup - when it is full, it's very easy to spill paint over model. With so precise painting, that will be total disaster. ;) All the best for You! ;)

Hi, nice job on the Zero, I live in Japan & Eduard kits are mega pricey, I tend to stick with Tamiya/Hasegawa versions, how do these compare? Not as much detail, but 1/2 the price . I also don't weather my aircraft all that much, exhaust marks is about all & the landing gear. Might try this kit one day soon. Cheers from Japan!
