LPKF's live demo of the ProtoLaser S4 rapid PCB laser etching system and interview with Rapid Prototyping Sales Manager, Rory Grondin. The ProtoLaser S4 includes our 532nm (green) laser source with 23µm focused beam diameter, ideal for rapid laser etching of copper on FR4, various PTFE based materials and similar laminated PCB substrates. The ProtoLaser S4 can create traces as small as 3 mil (75µm) or even smaller on fired ceramics. This laser also allows for the rapid drilling, surface etching and contour cutting of PCBs, allowing for small-batch production-on-demand as well as lightning-fast research & development in your lab.
