Hey Nurse B❤️ I literally found your videos so helpful during nursing school. I’m a new grad RN BSN and I STRUGGLED finding a job. When a nursing home decided to give me a chance, LPN’s are the ones who’ve taught me everything thus far. Because of the stigma behind the title LPN, I thought it would be this huge difference at work between the two positions, but unless your looking at a name tag you wouldn’t know the difference. LPN’s are extremely knowledgeable and I respect any position that’s is willing to take care of the ill

I’m really contemplating going for LVN, but everyone is saying noooooo go for RN. 😥 I’ve never felt more pressured before... some are saying RN is not even good enough and that I need my BSN.... ugh 😩
@Tierrateeeee4 жыл бұрын
They say most hospitals are only going to hire bsn not adn anymore, it’s honestly what you feel is best for you do let anyone pressure you because nursing school period is hard

Can you do a video on accelerated science classes. Like the A&P 1 and 2 class or microbiology and how to prepare for them. I am trying to decide should I take a accelerated class or not... thanks
@laurenhills2394 жыл бұрын
I’ve taken those accelerated sciences and got an A in all of them. Basically you have to study your ass off, stay extremely organized, DISCIPLINE, and find a study buddy/group to bounce off ideas with. It’s so hard but do-able! Also, you’ll learn some awesome study/discipline skills that will prepare you for whatever program you get into.

I actually here of more people getting their Lpn because it quick and you can make money for yourself and family. Some people think it’s better to be a lpn first for experience and if The RN program doesn’t work out, you’ll still be a nurse and can get a job.

Nursing instructors and advisers are telling students LPNs are phasing out. We were told that by 2022 (IIRC) they are even requiring RN's to have BSN's. That's why within 5 yrs most ADN RN's are required to go back to get their BSN. I personally dont know.. That's what we have been told though several times. Here in NC you dont see LPN's in hospitals, only nursing homes.
@sophia-O4 жыл бұрын
I am currently in an ADN program and yes there are a few hospitals that are requiring RN's to get their BSN within 5 years of employment.

How is the placement test works? Do you have to do pre nursing first before the actual lpn program or depending how you do on the placement test? or can you just go straight to the lpn? because i attend this school to informed about the lpn they told me i have to take the placement test and if necessary take the pre nursing before the lpn program so it would take me linger to complete. Please answer My Concern
@yourfavnurseb96994 жыл бұрын
If that’s what the school says than yes. Most schools I’ve looked at just require you to take the entrance exam. Is this a community college you are applying for? Also, look at more than one school.
