@tyeb6263 жыл бұрын
@@midosuiki6331 because the LPN program started in the fall of 2020 I graduate in August 2021 for RN I would not finish until the end of 2022. In my school I will have advanced standing when I bridge over to RN only two more classes will be required for my RN. I can work as a nurse while I finish my degree

Congrats babe! That's so exciting .. how was the program? And advice, tips, etc ... You'll do great on the NCLEX . I'm headed over to subscribe boo. Good luck with you career 😘😘😘

Brittany Nicole My cohort was amazing so it was pretty smooth sailing! We kept everybody straight. The HESIs will make you anxious but my school provided a review but that helped a lot. The only thing I didn’t like was the clinical sites my school/program got. It was like we got last pick on authorized sites. 🙄 Oh and studying for school exams, HESIs, and the NCLEX are totally different. You may have to adjust how you study several times throughout your program.

Great video as always and so glad that you explained the whole process. Good luck on you’re HESI Exam . I’m working on my medical assistant certification class right now I’m on my last section so I can finish and study for my CMA license exam soon .

You'll love being a CMA. I applied EVERYTHING that I learned in school when I worked. You'll do great. Just study study study! Have you started your externship yet? Like going to different offices ?
@MelloneeKecia4 жыл бұрын
Brittany Nicole Thank you for the encouraging words I really appreciate it so much. No I haven’t started my externship at all. I haven’t been going to different offices at all. My plan is to work as a medical assistant and go back to college and get my associate degree and bachelors degree in nursing become a pediatric nurse and go to graduate school and get my Doctorate degree in Nurse Practitioner then become a family nurse practitioner one day .

Maybe with COVID-19 they are trying to be as safe as possible. I really do hope you're able to see the clinical & administrative part of being a Medical Assistant. The experience is soooo amazing & you'll have a feel for what specialty you'd want to work in. We have the same goals so we can get through this together. Please if you need anything or just a friend to encourage you, know that I'm always available.

@tomerialatonya4 жыл бұрын
Brittany Nicole that’s good especially for you beginning in August and it’s definitely fast pace. Keeping up with notes and asking questions will be your best friend !!! I may say my struggle was in fundamentals and concepts many people thought dosage was hard but it’s pretty simple you just need to know calculations and equations. Get big index cards and highlights to maintain all notes, keep up with key terms and definitions. Other than that nursing school can be very simply once you get your time management down pack
