@@alisshia8045 not as hard as I thought it would be!! For me I thought the math would be the hardest part, because math isn't a subject I'm strong in. It actually wasn't that bad, for me I got many fractions, word problems and a few simple conversations ( my second highest score) The hardest part was the science. I'm actually really good in science, but it was still difficult. I almost ran out of time on the reading part. I didn't think I did that well in reading, but it was actually my highest score. Whatever you do, don't sleep on the english portion. there were many similar answers related to sentence fragments and subject verb agreement. Don't spend too much time on questions you don't know the answer to, for those questions go with your gut. Just study, prioritize your time and you'll do great!! Good luck🤞🏼😊

Your program is relaxed. After 2 absences we get a warning lol. My program is extremely strict, i think most Canadian programs are. Glad you made it through

LPN school is rough.. Luckily I haven't missed a day (knock on wood).My days are Tuesday (clinical) is 630-230, Wednesday (Lecture) is 8-3 and Lab is also 8-3... When you aren't at school you are constantly studying and when you aren't studying they have you make a power point about culture and my next project is writing a paper about ethics. I'm on spring break right now but during spring break I have to study for an exam and homework for clinical. There is so much more to it, but at the end of the day it's worth it. You have to put your whole heart and soul into nursing school and so far my grades have reflected that. 2 girls that are both in my lab and clinical missed days due to covid they were allowed that day without paying$$ for it (still had to make it up), now if it wasn't covid they would have to pay for it and we only get so many hours I think 15 hours (lab) until they boot us out of the program.. All in all our program is strict and missing a day is like missing a weeks worth of work to them.

@@Lady-u4h I have 2 more months left and it was super fast paced. In the beginning we had test back to back and towards the end it was a lot of clinicals and test. But it can be done just have to be on top of everything. Our school didn’t allow us to fall below an 80 or you get kicked out

My school if you miss a day or a few hrs you have to make up the hours you missed for that day. With clinicals you can have 2 absence but only 1 is excused. When it comes to study groups don’t force it. Find another person who is on the same level as you and you guys can study 24/7. I can’t stand study groups so I only study with one other person.

You should ask the class ahead of you to see if anyone would be willing to show you how to do the blood pressure and whatever else you learned in lab or maybe a classmate to see if they know how to. I had a hard time learning how to do the blood pressure.

Yea going to campus has its pros and cons, some schools you can only miss if you have covid or you or your child is in the hospital or a parent dies thats it. missing more than 2 days you get kicked out. Thats nursing school for ya.

22, currently in school for nursing and struggling with chem so bad, I'm already on my 2nd try (technically 1st cause I withdraw from chem on the first try but i didn't know it would still be counted as a full try considering i) and i already know it will be impossible to get into programs know so I've been really stressed out and feeling like a huge failure, especially considering I could have had my AA this upcoming spring semester but i just keep getting pushed back. I've been thinking of switching over to LPN. i saw it doesn't really have any similar courses as rn besides anatomy so it would be like starting over but it is shorter. and I've heard LPN is a good way to go if u really want to know if nursing is for you. i just need to make a decision. but this video was nice information
