What are these LPS? (weird littlest pet shop merch)

The dog and cat that you were stumped on where they came from actually came from a birthday cake, I can’t remember from where but I remember getting them from one of my birthday cakes. If I have to guess probably from Walmart, I think I still have the dog somewhere actually. And I think these were the only ones they made from my knowledge.

I believe the two odd pets are actually cake toppers back from when brands used to let super market bakeries make themed cakes! I remember getting these on my cake! Most likely Publix or Walmart since those were the only places my parents shopped lol

They are cake toppers I had them before for my birthday one year when I was a kid, that dog and cat were shown on a lot of really old Lps books etc. as well. They are weird but cake toppers back in the day were a bit strange but they did improve over time which is a good thing

As I see in the comments they're cake toppers but the designs are based on the merchandising from about 2006 I saw the cat in my coloring books all the time! I found an ebay listing for a 2006 coloring book that shows these two designs on the back.

I commented on the last mystery pet video, and conveniently enough, the answer is basically the same. This is the older set of Decopac pets from the early days of G2, meant for cake decorating. The same cat and dog designs appear in (significantly better) 2d illustrations on a wide variety of early LPS merch. They also came with too little balloon table things to complete the look. Needless to say, the later set of cake topper pets are a significant improvement in looks and materials, but are an interesting artifact nonetheless.

The cat and dog were cake topper toys that were available years ago, i doubt that they are anymore. But me and my sister share birthdays and we both liked lps so we got that cake and we both got to keep one of each pet. On the cake i had, the pets also came in a blue and pink little carrier to sit in. I still have the dog with the blue carrier because thats the one i chose to keep but my sister lost the cat and the pink carrier sadly. I remember the cake was also from walmart
