When installing the wire clips, do not place them anywhere that could bring the wires in contact with the top (as they are here in the cutaway demo guitar), or sound board vibrations will buzz against the wires like crazy and you'll think you've blown a speaker. This is the voice of experience speaking. Once it is installed correctly, this system is phenomenal.

This editor guy left his microphone on interviewee's hand. How could he talk about how microphone works... Hilarious!

Sounds really great. For an even cleaner and more guitar friendly design, I personally would *love* the battery outside and no on-board volume control. My floor pre-amps take care of that. Would it be possible to mod that? I mean I really want to bring my Goodall to the stage but that's still a lot of gear in the box.

I agree this microphone system can cancel feedback but, the most problem is that it kills top vibration which means it affects pure acoustic sound. Microphone has it's own weight and stick just below to the bridge with soft thick double -sided adhesive tape. You can imagine when top vibrate up and down but, Microphone doesn't move together.

It doesnt kill top vibration to any great extent at all.. ..very lightweight,

There is very little movement at the bridge pin. If the mic is light enough, it should not affect the tone. i am more concerned about he battery inside, both for the weight, balance and the inconvenience of changing it. i am waiting for someone to build an outside preamp for it...or I'll stick with the amazing K&K Trinity mini, still the best solution: No gear in the box except pick-ups and mic, great tone and feather light.

I have one and it sounds tinny and thin! So, I looked inside using my phone camera and noticed that mine was installed where the LR Baggs logo is facing the other direction and is behind (closer to the end peg) the string holes. Would this have a major effect on the tone coming out of it?

Yes

Didn't sound particularly natural to me in this video. Sounds electronic. But I've seen other videos in which it sounded much more natural... the ones with Ricky Skaggs, Phil Keaggy, and Sierra Hull.
